The tune is really awesome, another one of those demos/tunes (as well as "Trans*Form") which I return to quite often lately.

That eye test is pretty slick... but if you go to the top, you can make her eyes fall out of her head! :)

For the people who liked the part with the eyes following the butterfly: I've added a download link with a program i used to test the 16bit eye-math with... wiggle joystick to move the big yellow dot :)

I love the butterfly. I wonder if you could make us a version similar to this?

"Somehow reminded me of old Panoramic Design demos, and thats a compliment."

Jucke, that's about the highest compliment you can give :)

ayes, jucke, can you imagine being a pretty butterfly, happily flapping around, all of a sudden 2 spooky hands try to grab you...

Damn it looked nice when the girls eyes animated following the butterfly. Nice graphics and music, as always from Focus, including breathtaking design. The only thing I found a bit creepy was the dramatic almost psychadelic music in contrast to the cute butterflies. Somehow reminded me of old Panoramic Design demos, and thats a compliment.

Finally we can see the butterfly from the 'Timanthes' CSDb screenshot in action (However the one in the Arise demo did more tricks ;) ).
Solid stuff, eye candy, but too short, looking forward for the next Focus demo in this style and with more action, and it would be cool to see Compyx in action again too. :)

Love the Logo, the rich colours of the butterfly and the amazing shading that gives the womans face such an intense degree of contrast. I like the music, too Hein!

My only criticism, is I wish you'd had the time to draw some hi-res overlayed sprites for the animated butterflies (perhaps 4 sprites each). Would have been a nice touch. Exceptional eyecandy, guys! UFLI rox!

Who was it again, that said " Hi-Res is Ugly?"... Hah! ;)

Another sweet breath of freshness.
A few vivid drops of colour.
Great!

The picture perfect butterfly is of course phenomenal. Well done, Mirage!

About the rest of the production I don't get a coherent feeling from it. It's more like "Let's use that old logo I have lying around and...put some butterfly sprites on top so it will mesh with the cool picture?" The same goes for the music. It's ok...but not a perfect fit for the rest.

Anyway, I have high standards. Looking forward to future releases.

ultrawonderful again... yes, stupid name, but voted "best c64 butterfly ever" although I also love the animated (2-4 pixel wide) butterfly sprites in Mellwoods's journey by Mermaid.

Has attitude. Music lets me dream. Everytime the hand with the wonderful coloured butterfly appears, my eyes drop out of my face 8]
Hey, is this a *real* 16:9 format? (with adressable borders at top&bottom?) ;-)

I miss a stronger point. GFX is excellent, although I wounder what would happen if the hands vere drawn further into the top and bottom borders ;-). Music somehow reminded me Cadaver's soundtrack to BOFH. ;-) Hein is not afraid of using of "dirty" sounds which I really like, but this time the final music creeps me out a bit. But maybe it was an intention. Ok, I admit, it works on me! ;-)

Considering the name of this prod, i can't say anything else than it is fucking *recycling*!!! Better start reserving a certain namespace for future productions :/.

Oh, the demo is nice, but short. Beautiful gfx!

Looks lovely, simply brilliant. Also I think this looks better on an old VIC chip, those grayscale hands looks really awesome to the color brilliance that the old VIC produces on that butterfly! Some bugs though, on the real thing the top black raster line is one cycle off and the bottom is at times two cycles off. Also the second biggest lower ball is visible in the top border (only one line though), and this is not even a HCL-class border monitor!

Really small release... think of it as a gfx-release and a music-release packed into a tiny demo... Enjoy! (or not, whatever :)
