First of all, great release!
...Moloch is right, there is fire yet burning in the NTSC torch. It's up to us to keep it going and encourage new interest rather than fighting amongst ourselves and zipping up the NTSC bodybag.

@Moloch - DUDE! I have that very font, or at least 7 variations of it. I remember having one loaded up in the "viewer", on the 2nd monitor and drawing on monitor #1. It didn't come out bad for 2 colors, although it's rather blocky. Converting would have been easier I'm sure. When I drew the 2x2, I also recall myself saying "How would I fall on this particular letter (if I were snow)"... This particular coding project was supposed to be with Kickback in the Christmas Season of 2005. I still wonder what James is doing these days.
Oh. I know the NTSC scene is "kind of alive" or fade's in and out or what have you. I just don't know anymore. It's easier to greet PAL people/groups because they at least make themselves seen (go on Eric, dig a bit deeper)... | User Comment Submitted by Moloch on 7 July 2008
Considering three NTSC groups have released this year and ten overall releases put out; I don't see the problem.
Like the snowy logo - I've always wanted to convert over a similar TTF font for a Christmas demo.

Cool. I read your scroll... Style is active, our last release was in April and we have other works in process for future release. :-) So there is at least one NTSC demo group still alive. | User Comment Submitted by Higgie on 6 July 2008

@Skate.. I'm an NTSC coder, that's why :D
In any of my newer codings, I do several checks for pal and correct any changes accordingly. This is from 2005, the LAZY NTSC coder bug strikes again :D :D :D | User Comment Submitted by Mindcooler on 6 July 2008 User Comment Submitted by Skate on 6 July 2008
intro is nice but why didn't you remove that little bug in 3 years? :) | User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 5 July 2008
Included the source code on the disk. This thing is from November 2005, but released today... Enjoy :)
PS. This file should work in both NTSC/PAL. PAL having minor bugs in the lower border. |
