Enjoyed watching is on Mibri's stream today, didn't recall seeing this one before. Really like it and the mood it created. Good job. Great bat screenswipe.

Eerie atmosphere with great SID from Fanta. There are some really great fx like the double twister and rotating boards.
Pics fit the mood. Also love how the blood drips off the dark angel pic.
The bat flying into the screen was special.

More than in "Cause of death" I love the technical perfection here. Vice versa, I like the msx. Great stuff!

One of my favs from the X2010 bunch. I especially like the movie-style sequencing in synch with the music and all the nifty 3D parts. If all the voters were metalheads - that would have been a straight winner :)

One of my favourites. The music worked very well with the demo too. Thumbs up!

Smooth production with atmospheric music and nice gfx, e. g. I love Yazoo's cemetery picture at the end/after the intro, and the bat (or crow?) making the "fade out". Includes some hardcore code: Vector city in cemetery style, that fast and hires 3D object and those crossing twisters, kewl stuff! Great to see Axis being so active! Scary end part with all those animated eyes watching the flying "The End" - cool idea! Special thumbs up for creating this production within such a short time in 2010!
Ah, and the "note" is a perfect alternative end part ;-)

Excellent stuff! No complaints about "slow pace" from me, I don't always need to get an epileptic seizure when watching a C64 demo. The speed matches the atmosphere very well, to my mind.

L'Aallemagne: dix points!

Nice code from Axis and superb graphics from Yazoo. I'm still waiting for TTS to join the forces again ;)

I liked this, and would maybe have expected it even to reach #4 (that, or Lepsi, was a tough choice!)... But Mahoney's placing surprised everyone I guess! ;-)

My favourite part is the rotating chessboard thingy, because it runs so smooth!.. You simply have a better feeling of actual depth than with the plasmas (Pantha Rhei, EoD) or patterntextures (EoD) used in other oneframed x-rotator-parts...

Also, the double twister rocked! ;-D

really nice demo considering the short amount of time it was made in. The intro vector part, the graveyard with the crow and the final eyeballs tracking the logo were my favorite bits from the demo. I wish you guys had more time to work on this. it feels like this demo was just at a sweet spot where say three more weeks could have improved it greatly. Some of the gfx could be more polished (like the dark angel girl's stomach looks a bit like flat cylinder)

Thanks for this nice demo. Looking forward to your next.

Some quite cool 3d stuff in here. The demo/music is a bit too slow paced though.

Well, "ripped" migh have been the wrong word to use.
The picture was first featured in this demo.
And here is a link to the original picture.

frost... you are talking about the reaper i guess. i wanted some nice outlines and found that picture at google and took the outlines for hires sprites. not a big deal i guess - nothing was ripped from any amiga-demo - and i didnt even know that demo you was talking about. the reaper was hand-polished by me... the same reaper got used in our demo "farbraus" in the plotscroll part. i like that one... its just a small part of the devils pic

this was the source from google i had used to look up some nice reapers outlines for inspiration: http://www.dracula.de/halloween/Bilder/sensenmann_klein.jpg

i have nothing to hide :-)

I really liked this demo. Very nice effects and high quality visuals. I liked the tune as well. This should have been in top 3. I even thought it may win the compo. Guys, don't be sad of the compo positioning, we know your worth. ;)

I _really_ liked this, and when some folks were saying the first half shown were obviously selected that way I was pointing out that this one wasn't low on the scale, it probably had been mixed into the earlier bits to be sure we had some stuff to even stuff out/shake it up a bit.

Still I should have said how much I liked it in person, sorry I didn't.

Basically I wouldn't be surprised if this made into the top 3. This had the most coherent design, with quality effects. Maybe misses a bit more content. For me that X rotator is some of the best looking effect released on the whole party. Good work guys!

I really enjoyed the coherence of this, and I think the pace of the demo was fitting to the theme. If I would have changed one thing, I would have taken away the smile from that devil, and replaced it with a more solemn facial expression. Apart from that, I found the jokes working in this context, despite the doomish theme of the demo.

I like the muzak!

Yet another perfect production that will go high up in the rank! Some routines were just breathtaking! Probably one of the best design I've seen in a while!

maybe the most polished "oxyron" demo ever, lovely transitions and really nice code and I have to admit that yazoo actually can do gfx....
nice work.
For just the small amount of time it is a real kick ass production, seems like you like it stressy :)

friendly hugs to all of you

Great demo indeed! Amazing 3d routines and some nice graphics. I especially liked the graveyard one after the intro, beautiful. And the music ofcourse!
The theme is not my cup of tea however.

if it had more effects and a faster pace this would have been my personal #1 from the compo. most harmonic design&code&music imho from the bunch. very nice!
