This game started as a little basic experiment of Rulas International to learn basic (and get practice) since he had lots of years not touching the c64!. As the game progressed, music, bitmaps and redefined fonts for the text were needed so Rulas asked me for help in this matters. I accepted and modified some parts of the structure of the game to be in harmony with my machine code routines, and I must say it was a really hard (and specially tedious) work cos C64's Basic is very maniatic (you can believe me!)

Rulas had put a LOT of text for the poor memory that c64's basic has really available, so I had to extract all the texts into files and compress them with exomizer to be able to load also bitmaps, charsets, and my own MC routines (all properly compacted also).

For the music, I had contacted with Yogi Bear (Protovision), thanks to my friend Jack T. Rip (from Protovision also), and he was pleased to make the music for this and other games we are working right now.

MKII was made in a record time. All (bitmaps included) was created in about four months, the last one was very intensive since we had to present it in Madrid at April's 9th (Retro Encounter 2011).

It is planned to launch this game along with "La Carretera" (a.k.a. "The Road") in physical c64 discs in Spanish, English and German languages. The distribution of the english and german ones will be by Protovision.
