X64sc "chis" only works sometimes.

I'm using x64sc 3.8 r45003 on Linux and the "chis" command works one time out of 10.
Most of the time it shows nothing and doesn't matter if I use it right after entering the monitor or after a breakpoint.

Does it only happen to me?

I'm going to write the ticket.

might look at it later tonite, this is VERY strange (because the related code is almost trivial, no idea how this can even happen)

While at it, add line/cycle along side the clock in chis. I’ve made such patches from time to time, but not cleanly enough to merit an MR

If you use the command line option: -monchislines 10

To set the chis history to a really small number, does this cause the problem to happen a lot less frequently?

If you use the command line option: -monchislines 10

Nothing changes, it "works" exactly the same way.

Hmm, now that is puzzling :)

Apparently the problem disappeared after a clean rebuild (which is probably why none of the windows users ever saw it).

Means source changes are to be blamed? All linux users need to make a clean rebuild while the github winblows download lamers are fine?

How dare you?!?!?!?!?111!

Just for the record, the problem is not caused by a dirty rebuild of Vice, but by how the emulator sets the chis buffer when more than one drive is active (from what I understand).
The bug has also been present in the Windsurf version since r39502.
Linux users are safe, for now!!1!!eleven!

Hehe indeed, that was just coincidence and probably a other problem that was somehow triggered by "dirty" build.
