Coder needed for Battlestar Galactica 64

Hi Coders,

the idea for a Battlestar Galactica game is quite old, i.e. I thought of it for a long time, but after talking to some guys at the Out-of-Orderia 2005, we came to the conclusion that this idea HAS TO BE put into praxis on the 64.

We do have a vague storyline, an idea for the intro and the end, but there are two things missing badly: a coder and a musician. The concept for the game is, however, free and depends on the interests/focus of the coder. Imaginable is everything from an adventure to a classic Shoot-'em-Up. Or even a mixture, if somebody is willing to do so ...

The following goals are already set:
1. The gameplot will be in TOS (yeah, now you can speak of a "Original Series" here, too :) )
2. The game will be freeware
3. The progress of programming will be put online, a kind of "diary of production". This means a kind of the information-cycle that Werner van Loo does with Pinball Dreams, but without any downloadable preview versions of the game. There will be a webpage online with a special corner for this on
www.colonalfleet.de soon.

Ok, so what do you think? Who of you is interested to join the team? Ah, the team ... it consists so far of me, finchy, M-Forcer (aka Mitch), and 8r0tk4$t3n.

If you're interested, perhaps it would be nice to start with the intro, don't you think?

So long ...

not that i have any time, but i do have some suggestions :)

- NEVER start with the intro, that's just a waste of time, imo.
- DO start with converting your 'vague ideas' into crystal-clear, written fact. :)

For all the ones who hoped we would forgot about it: bad news!
For all the ones who longed for some news: good news!
