Demo party during the winter
Hi!
Will there be any other demo compos other than Transmission 64 during the winter (dec-feb)? I cannot see any entries in CSDB. Is it normal that those are normally not advertised that early, or does it mean that organizers become tired to organize those again?
Thanks for any info, I have to decide what to release when, and my demo might not be compatible with Transmission 64 equipment anyways.

Usually Fjälldata and BCC is arranged at that time (February).
Both c64 only parties and accept remote entries.
But you say your demo might not be compatible with Transmission c64 equipment.
Why not? |

It is a secret, you have to wait for the demo. I am trying to reinvent graphics... :)
(But currently I am only at the point to try to get an analog monitor in New Zealand...) |

Yeah, upcoming BCC#17 just wandered 2 months to late April after being held remote-only twice due to Covid, as late Feb was usually lockdown time. We did not talk about BCC#18 and a date for it yet but might go back to late Feb (tourism/hotel situation is a whole lot cheaper then), no promises, though. |

I asked the Fjalldata organizers and they will do the next one, just the date is not fixed yet, so everything is awesome :) |

Yes, like NoiseEHC says Fjälldata 2024 will most likely be held at 9-11 februari but nothing is really confirmed or booked yet. We'll announce this officially by the end of the summer.
Remote entries will as usual be very welcome. It's actually not a c64-only party as Dwangi said, but almost :) |
