This is Mitch/ESI, the cracker, NOT the musician Mitch (Half of Mitch and Dane).

His original handle is 'Eagle Soft' and Mitch is his real first name. So as to not cause confusion between Eagle Soft and Eagle Soft Inc., he'd sometimes write 'Mitch' or 'The Guy'.

Trivia :
During his time on C64 Mitch was not only a formidable cracker, but also coded lots of small utilities and systems. One of these famed productions is the manual and copy protection sheet for the game 'Pirates!', written entirely in BASIC.

It was also his skill in programming and removing protections that led to one of the best known 'wars' within the C64 scene, when ESI and UCF battled it out in early to mid 1987.
