Only "outsourcing" voting from CSDb will at least prevent _anonymous_ downvoting from happening ;)

Some nice releases were submitted and deadline is over. Now please cast your votes for the ranking until
January 1st, 2014 at 18:00:00 (6:00:00 p.m.) CET (GMT+1). Only submission of many votes will outweigh strategic downvotes, so please VOTE VOTE VOTE! ;)

I like the "whatcha want" Wild Competition/no restriction idea

Let's see how many drunk santas with yellow teeth pop up this year.

I changed the deadline to December 25th, because in some countries evening of 24th is not related to christmas.

Shine, you're right. I will upload my things just before Christmas. But didn't planned to upload it now this early week of December, just for a Compo. People expect Xmas stuff around Xmas, so that will be it. :)

Didi: I'll take that as this will be a fun christian event then. :)

Edit: I think some countrys even celebrate Christmas on the 26:th so i guess that's a good date for deadline?

@Sixx: I think it is the wrong place to discuss people's religious preferences. This should become a fun event and no discussion forum about religious practices.

Is any form of critism of the birth of Jesus allowed, like for people that don't celebrate christmas and the likes?

@JSL: In Germany we give the presents at the evening of 24th. Other countries may do different. Didn't think of that. Would 25th the same time be better?

@ JSL:

"Deadline for entry submission is December 24th, 2013 at 18:00:00 (6:00:00 p.m.) CET (GMT+1)."

So i don't get your point?

And what if I don't want to compete.. It is, I must upload my Christmas stuff this month, before 24th. I just had in mind to upload it with Christmas, I guess others do have that in mind too. I have a 3screener done and a Petscii demo, for Christmas.

I just love how many compos are organized on CSDB! I already have a couple of ideas, hopefully also time to finish something :)

This is the competition for the ones who felt too restricted by the rules of the previous compos. So here is a compo with very less rules.

This is Christmas Fun Competition 2013! Anything goes! Feel free to hand in what ever you want: Demos, intros, graphics, musics, games, poems, etc. Just make sure they belong to the general topic "christmas" and are in executable format for C64 (prg, d64, t64, tap, crt, sid). Also feel free to express negative feelings about christmas (e.g. I don't like that supermarkets already sell christmas stuff since September).
If any special hardware or hardware version is required (SID model, REU, NTSC, SuperCPU, etc.), please mention!
English language is required! If you feel to express yourself in another language, deliver a translation with it (in case of a poem the translation does not have to rhyme ;) ).
The release itself should be new, even it may also contain old stuff.

Deadline for entry submission is December 25th, 2013 at 18:00:00 (6:00:00 p.m.) CET (GMT+1).
Voting closes one week later at January 1st, 2014 at 18:00:00 (6:00:00 p.m.) CET (GMT+1).
Voting platform is CSDb (with all disadvantages it may have), therefore entries have to be posted here.
All entries, independent of its type, will be collected in a single list (Mixed) and ranked by weighted average of CSDb votes. Entries with the same weighted average are ranked by their percentages of 10s, 9s, etc.

Have fun!
