@Spider
Yep you don't get it, it's essentially unfinished. The main SEUCK work is done but I can't add any more code until the competition is finished. I feel this game will suffer in the final standings because it's misunderstood. Oh well.

Seems to be completely broken here (tested on real machine & vice) - or I don't get it. Heavy spriteflickering going on. Player and enemies not visible at certain X-positions. And after first enemies max. one enemy at a time appears. Crap.

Only a n00b can diss S.E.U.C.K.; whatever people do with it is another thing. However, this one's pretty awesome.

Great! :D - And just to let know on the Seuck topic, but I guess you don't wanna know - Richard Bayliss released DARK FORCE on the TND site, sort LightForce clone. Loading screen and title logo by me. So crackers, leech it from there.. :)

@eLK Yup this game is relying on enhancements to work properly. The idea is that you can't let any of the zombies destroy the camp sign sprite, but it needs a bit of extra programming for the game to end when this happens. Dodo's Deep Doo-Doo has been finished for a few months now.

Heh, if you don´t kill any zombie, then you will play forever - no other zombie will come :)

The graphics is nice and the music also, but the game totally stupid! :o)

But I like your Dodo's Deep Doo Doo - also not complete, but much better and the title pic is perfect!

Yeh I was thinking that myself, the collision detection can be frustrating. But there's nothing I can do about that for the moment, I'm hoping this can be fixed in post production with enhancements if the game wins the comp.

Graphic is awesome (animation!!), music is very cool. However it flashing, and hit detection is not good enough, so bad it's not done with dedicated assembler code. SEUCK is good but not good enough for such great art!

Someone puts out a neat release on Sat evening. It makes me happy as there was nothing up recently. I love the music/sfx and the graphics.

Thanks Mase! :) Keep it up.

It's very arrogant of you to say you are a critic, you're just a guy who writes crap on the internet. I called your "critisism" for what it was, and YOU take offense.

A person is offended when he/she behaves like she was offended, not when says or writes down so explicitly. In every other culture aspect like music, literature, theatre, whatever an artist would be laughed at extremely if he would react on any critics like a complete idiot. But no... the scene of 40 years old kids cannot take it but still wants their work to be regarded as art. Hahaha. Ridicolous is a modest description for that kind of logic and behaviour.
I'm really tired of dealing with uneducated simpleminded nerds.

This is for a SEUCK competition for all those people who might say "Why is this game done with SEUCK, when there are programmers out there needing graphic artists. Hence I used SEUCK. You can guarantee this will happen every time on this site. I honestly don't know why Richard/TND uploads to here.

@Rough, did I say I was offended? Just feeding the troll I guess you could call it.

Oooh, calm down lads.

Actually SEUCK was a great idea, in 1987.

It would be ubergreat if someone released a NEW SEUCK for the new generation of SEUCKERS using more complex code, making it possible to actually make GOOD SHMUPS, and not the same thing over and over again ¤takes a deep breath¤.

As i huge SHMUP and C64 fan i'd like to see someone build.. Maybe a variation, Arena SEUCK 2014 with the ability to have autofire on all the time, making you able to press fire to fire in one position.. ETC..

It's too many times to count that someone made the comment "Nice.. For a SEUCK game" or "Wow awesome graphics!! Why do you use SEUCK when there's game coders out there wanting quality graphics".

I demand someone to step up and put some effort into building SEUCK 2014, or i force you all to quit the scene. :)

What the heck of a lame looser are you jerk? You are offended because SEUCK games suck? Deal with critics (which in this case did not even criticize your work) or piss off.

If you've got nothing good to do, don't upload pointless games on a commodore scene database. And btw, it's a SCENE DATABASE. (Have a look at the statistics what I have done, what did you do?) and not a release site for your crap.

Who's counting? If you've got nothing good to say, don't post pointless comments on a commodore scene database. As my old mammy used to say.
