Yes, i'm currently integrating the loader to the mag outfit, which takes a bit of effort since i'm not in for half-assed releases. Relax and be patient :)

I haven't had time to go in-depth with this one, but I just had to comment on the intro picture. Wow! After mopping up my tears I'm taking the elevator 8 floors down to pick up my jaw.

Krill is changing the mag loader. Once that's done we should be ready. Some text is needed from some guys but that's easy work. I know, been ages... I want it now too! :D

Archmage: thanks, well that's the scene that you have become a member of! (proud)

Thanks for your reaction. Wait until you see the 3rd edition of the magazine! :D

When I first saw this, I thought: now _this_ is the scene I want to be a part of. The gfx here is just good beyond belief. The intropic is soooo cool. And it makes a good read too.

Usually I dont read scene magazines entirely, and as this makes an exception it shows how high its quality is.

Completed it in one read yesterday and it was a very enjoyable read, cool information on the 80s cracking scene and a real great feeling through the entire writings.

Of course I dont need to point out that the graphics are excellent.

ps. one little point to nag: the FBR story seems a bit twisted after all these years, FBR surely werent the first ones to import wares via modem and also they were far from being that wanted
as they pretend to. butwhocares

Just like the intro shows; it is an excellent idea to bring light into the dark cave of nothingness. This really captures my heart and was the second intro this month that moved me.

Unbefuckinglievable stylish intro, awesome musics throughout the whole thing and some of the best gfx i have ever seen on the c64. Mirage definately shows us newbies "where the hammer hangs", as we say in German with his best gfx so far (IMHO), and considering his track record, this means some of the best gfx ever.... That intropic gave me spontaneous ejaculation for sure! ;-)

Ooooooh The story is very long my master squirrel.I ordered direct from the firm and told them, that i will make the biggest C-64 software magazin in germany and i told them thousand of things like, that i have the new C-65 with 3,5 drive, which will come next month. Then i told them, that i will remove some new Starbyte wares from the title side and that i will give Lemmings the first side.Ill gave them an wrong firm name and so on.......
I lost 2 days of my life for all this work.
I hope you can understand my sleepless nights, now.

oh my holy god! been only seen the screenshot but my pants are wet

okay, I already had a very good read :) a bit of complaining about the copy protection article: I'd like to read more about the techniques itself than having a boring list after each one with the games used it.

magnificient mag again, thumbs up guys!

Thanks for the reactions guys. Burglar mentions "balance", which is the most important aspect of a magazine such as Recollection. Attaining a good balance is very difficult as most of the early scene is about cracking (hence why a lot of the chapters won't be about the demo scene).

With each issue I will be shifting the focus onto the demo scene more and more, Compunet right through to the late eighties and early nineties and the changes that took place.

With issue #2 I tried a general approach to most scene aspects; a little bit of everything. Of course the result is also decided by those participating too, but glad the outcome was satisfactory to most!

Amazing use of colors in the intropicture. The rest of the content was also interesting - maybe too much cracking history at once, but still. Some of the tunes were too short for magreading. Luckily Hubbard rescued the day.

very well balanced issue (better than issue #1) with amazing gfx by lars.

particulary liked the phreaking article a lot ;) and ofcourse the interviews with true legends. spawns over a wider part of the scene in the issue, which is great. (got a bit fed-up with g*p halleluya in #1.)

great job, david, it was worth the wait.

Mirage you're just too good drawing in FLI, everytime a better one. Like Sergei Bubka was with pole-vault world records. :)
Some good chapters, I liked the Omega Supreme intrerview the most. Good work.

Excellent graphics and I love Laxity's music, which I think comes closest to ancientness (or sumthing). Had a good read with the ESI article as well. Great 2nd issue improving on the first one.

After a very long time, i was curious about what's going on the scene, and it is really good to see you guys are still alive and rockin'. I'm still reading this new issue and i must say magazine's concept, chapters, musics and graphics are quite astonishing. Thanks to Jazzcat, Mirage, Burglar, Antitrack and the others for this quality release...
