The raycaster part rules. The rest is also splendid and a big joy to watch and listen. | User Comment Submitted by shazz on 17 November 2009
Simply awesome... I love everything, the rotozoom, the twister, the raycaster, the credits, the 1280 colors picture.... all.
Congrats mates ! | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 9 November 2009
okay... the raycaster beats in speed&reso&color anything I've seen on my stock A1200. seriously WTF ?!?! :) | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 7 October 2009
This is exactly what I want to see on DTV! Great work guys. Finding hidden part in a ray casting engine was really fun! 10/10 | User Comment Submitted by A-Man on 6 October 2009
Excellent Demo! Very Good! 8) | User Comment Submitted by FATFrost on 6 October 2009
Jammer can you stop fiddling with your joystick in public! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Lubber on 6 October 2009 User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 6 October 2009
Top-notch stuff, every bit of it. C'grats!
+++ : even the music is badass enough for me :)
Jammer is one of the most serious SID abusers. Hats off! | User Comment Submitted by ... on 6 October 2009
nice !!!! nice !!! too bad I am so lazy to hack my DTV ... ;( | User Comment Submitted by daison on 5 October 2009
Now that was very pleasant to watch!
Dtv still feels like a niche to me but hey, i happily waste time watching prods like these (even on vice...) | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 5 October 2009
Great work, guys. I am especially fond of the raycaster. Pretty damn fast, I'd say ;) | User Comment Submitted by Peiselulli on 5 October 2009
@Deekay : it also runs on your DTV 2 (except the hidden part)
| User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 5 October 2009
Damn. This is so nice, i need a Blitter V3 DTV! <:-) | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 5 October 2009
Very nice! I gotta fix my DTV and check this on the real thing! | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 5 October 2009
Very nice! :-) Love the soundtrack. | User Comment Submitted by Archmage on 5 October 2009
Greeeat! I like everything about this!
Edit: and the music is a real treat now that I hear it for the third time. Dirty sound ftw! | User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 4 October 2009
For sure the most polished DTV demo so far. I was especially impressed by the 1280 colours picture, I suppose that was due to interlace, right? Or is that some new fancy mode I haven't heard of so far? The plasma was a bit below the expectations, I still prefer the ones in Coma Job or Royal Arte 100% over this one. On second listening I was beginning to like the tune, the third time I already had to stomp my feet to the rhythm. A little bit less distortion and dirty sounds could do, but that's in the ear of the beholder. Thumbs up, great entertainment! | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 4 October 2009
Lovely stuff you guys! Fantastic! :) | User Comment Submitted by Mactron on 4 October 2009
Whaaa ! I have to change my pampers.
Totally awesome. 11/10 ;)
| User Comment Submitted by tlr on 4 October 2009
@peiselulli: Ah, then it is perfect! :)
It runs so smooth that I almost forget what a massive amount of high-tech code is behind it all. :)
| User Comment Submitted by Peiselulli on 4 October 2009
@tlr : 5 minute limit was one part of the compo rulez, so we have to reach the endpart at that time
| User Comment Submitted by grennouille on 4 October 2009
Fantastic! Really Awesome! | User Comment Submitted by 6R6 on 4 October 2009
Ah, This is great! You get my vote. I only wish a real C64 could do this. | User Comment Submitted by LOGAN on 4 October 2009
Ecellent. The masters of DTV are back! This demo was one of the more interesting stuff seen on the stream last night. Eventually I got bored with that many rubbish noisy PC demos.
More, we need mooore! | User Comment Submitted by Nitro on 4 October 2009
My jaw dropped :) This for sure is the next level of DTV demos.. | User Comment Submitted by Shadow on 4 October 2009
Fantastic! I have no idea how they can get the rotozoomer and wolf3d engine running so fast.
Also the FPP-in-256-color mode has me puzzled! :) | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 4 October 2009
Very nice!
I especially enjoy the smoothly executed rotzoomer part.
All in all good flow but perhaps a bit short. | User Comment Submitted by hevosenliha on 4 October 2009
wow... "is this DTV or Amiga?" I really have to do the solder work on my dtv now.... | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 4 October 2009
Nice Wolfenstein, you should try and make a game out of it, with crappy nazi samples "ach mein leben !" and so on ;D Wicked soundtrack, really acidious! | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 4 October 2009
Nice stuff, I really enjoyed it. Love the intro - shame some of the effects aren't emulated in VICE. Nice idea on the credits part.
'Ouch! Emulator detected!' LOL! ;D
