Exodus was formed in 06/1988 by Cult.

In 02/1989, Warewolf (NATO) joined in, followed by Stormbringer, Jimmy Z and Gazoo (all former Mayhem) in 04/1989. This is when the golden age of Exodus started. Exodus went exclusive with Illusion, NATO, Genesis Project, Crazy and Censor Design. Executionner (Reign of Terror) joined in Oct/1989 as he was disappointed that Gene/Illusion gave the first real first-release to EXS instead of ROT.
Exodus lost Illusion as trading partner to A Touch of Class mainly due to a war between Gene and Exodus.

In 02/1990 Grim Reaper (former The Syndicate, North East Crackers) and Warez King (ex-Fantasy, Sysop of Warez Castle) joined in, while Flyboy (Sysop of Fabulous Disaster) was kicked out and joined Fantasy.

In 05/1990 The Executioner stopped and bought an Amiga.
Stormbringer and The Cure left in 09/1990, to form a new super NTSC-fixing group together with Pudwerx and Blue Devil (both ex-A Touch of Class) called named Random.

From then on, Exodus was consisting of Warewolf, Gazoo and Grim Reaper. Genesis Project and Censor Design were loyal and remained trading exclusively with them.

In 12/1990 they decided to kill the group. Grim Reaper rejoined NEI/NEC, Warewolf decided to stop on c-64 and Gazoo eventually shut down his infamous BBS.

Exodus is not well remembered. During their heyday around 1988-1990 they were the center of the scene. Their main BBS, Wild Warez was the most popular BBS in the world, for many years. Stormbringer taught NTSC fixing and the Theory of Reverse Engineering to many people.

in the 2 years XDS was around in the c64 scene,
they released ALOT of games as I checked out their
info here on the database! they were a COOL group! nice cool intros by stormbringer on some of em!!

Exodus had some of the best U/L areas on their BBS's.. also many cool dudes trading calling cards etc.. too bad those days are gone guys!

BTW, my BBS only had one phone number and not two as listed. Not sure where that 702 Las Vegas number came from... have fun.

When I joined I brought Genesis*Project, Crazy, Dominators, Censor Design, Paramount, Extasy and other groups in to their list as of then their primary contacts being Illusion and NATO who the later was on their way out of the scene. One other correction, Gazoo was also in Exodus when the lineup consisted of Warewolf, Gazoo and myself. Thanks for the interest! We were a tight group, but as all things go, interests/opinions change over time...

Gazoo was one of the best people I ever knew on the c64. Always a pleasure to talk with him.

Wild Warez (Gazoo), Fabulous Disaster (Flyboy) and Disintegration (The Cure) were the big boards from the old days runned by Exodus. Also I remember Skreemer (from old INC) being a good friend in the old days. Thumbs up !!!
