i looked at the last source again and gotta say, sorry, this version is embarrassing-the "ntsc fix" applied here is adding one missing instruction... and a few other obvious bugs werent fixed at all. worst of all, the ntsc "fix" makes the game a lot harder, and unpossible to complete on ntsc (it runs 20% faster than on pal!). i fixed all that in the original source and sent it to ninja, lets see what he makes out of it :)

dalezy: Just to let you know btw, that your tune is playing at 25Hz here rather than 50. So, the quality/sync might be slightly different, though it doesn't seem you had noticed that yet.

you guys liked my tune so well that it's been released in 2 different intros in just one week?
i'm flattered to say the least.

Hehe. Scout, pleased you noticed you can reset/load/etc highscore. ;)

Burglar: judging from your words you're a big fan of this release! Cool ;)

Anyway, some small bug fix was done, glad you enjoyed our hard work and liked my text. :)

Btw, from the general rules:
Quote:
- The appearance of the game must NOT be altered in any way. No changing of
ingame texts into your groups name, no altering of the hiscore tables.
Altered hiscore tables are acceptable if the game has an option to restore
the original content.

Nothing to worry in this case as it is accepted as a real release now but keep this in mind for the next time.

Edit: I'm talking shit. The high-score table can be restored to original content.

Rumours say it's actually Oswald who keeps the cracking scene going. You see, it's hillarious to see him upset, all worked up and furious like a terrier. Not bad motivation, that's for sure!

(I expect Oswald to reply this post with his usual ranting that we all heard a million times before, including words such as "introlinking", "pathetic" and "pointless". Did I mention "introlinking"?)

Ossie: nice to see you have a sense of humour! Looking forward to it. :)

There's an N to choose in the trainer, so where's the problem?

jazzcat, my next demo will be a trained onslaught demo... with a resource intro infront, which only allows you progress to the demo if you choose resource rulez...

ofcourse, in the name of fun and tradition.

@Oswald: you've made your point several times. We can all dream it by now. Now code Desert Dreams II or something.

Hugs & Kisses,

Huh? Onslaught added bugfixes, an NTSC-Fix and a trainer to improve the actual game. I can't see anything wrong about that at all. Conrad, keep up the good work!

ok dickheads, I'll stop doing it then. ...may as well just quit altogether while I'm at it.

adding a trainer to this game is pointless anyway. anyone want a trainer for minesweeper or passians? these are just bad excuses to slap an intro infront of a scene mate's hard work and call it a release...

Oswald's got a point. As Zoo Mania's source is available to anyone, why not adding NTSC fix to the sourcecode and release a trainer seperately?

but.. but.. what was cracked here? releases like this shouldnt be in the crack category. ppl in general shouldnt put their intros infront of other scene people's work. I think its pathethic.

edit:

original supply?!
linking?!

are you serious?
