Very, very nice tune! But it's not a high-score ballad in my book.

Indeed, great tune. I've been whistling beginning while driving to work. Thanks Hein.

Quite rich in terms of weird twists and turns here, but doesn't quite do it for me.

yeah - I hear you on that… but I love it!
First half has been buzzing in my head all day.

I'm changing my vote :D

Eventhough I am Hein fan and like his unique style very much - this one doesn't work for me... The mix with the melodic stuff and the strange twists doesn't work for me... Sorry... But nice to hear something new from you, Hein.

90% of compo entries seems more or less similar to cheese (on purpose, no doubt) - THANK GOD THERE'S HEIN \o/

Haha, I second the comment about Hein choosing the least expected chord progression. A bit too even as a tune for me, not enough dynamics this time.

I like this a lot! Giving me a feeling that I survived all the levels in a game and now it's time for congratulations. Well executed!

Ah! Yeah, this is great. Those are some weird, wonderful, nice and rich leads you've got there. Great chord progressions.

definitely amongst my favourites.

Nice to see you made a demo/intro out of it :) Good tune ... ;)

I like this melody very much, it has a strong unique character! And most importantly the tune itself resembles the title-theme.

Very nice execution. But melody & harmony could use a little bit more 'pop'. It seems that with every tone and chord you chose the least expected next one. That is very interesting but makes it also complicated to follow.

Wish I were able to hear this, but can't using Vice 2.2.

Sucks too because I like Hein's music.

EDIT...

After much dicking around with my EMU settings, I finally got it to play. I do understand it's a simple Highscore music thingy, but meh. Seemed like I went through more trouble in getting it to work, and sadly, that was more exciting than this was.

Lovely! I'm so happy when Hein composes, codes and make beautiful art. The tune grows fast into the subconscious collective memory:
This in particular is very close to the beautiful "More Than Meets the Eye" ending by Jeroen Koops, which I like very much.

Ah, excellent! Nailing that old "You may have gotten a highscore, but alas, you failed to save the world"-feeling :)
