Added screenshot. Sigh. There was one before, but with wrong aspects, thus deleted.

Wow! So pleased that this piece is well liked, many thanks for all the positive comments.

Black Cathedral: The Wild Wood. Is a Teaser pic for a game I am putting the assets together for. In this case you can choose a route through the game... down the rabbit hole to the Cathedral Catacombs, or through the Graveyard to the Main Cathedral itself. The game is a platformer with rpg elements.

If any coder out there thinks they may like to get involved/know more, then please pm me. :)

Agreed, this is incredible! I love the detailing and would so play a game that had these graphics! My favorite bit is the angel statue in the graveyard.

Really nicely pulled off and also in a kind of old school way.

Just great! Yep, the right-hand path looks a bit "blocky", but I would have never noticed that if it wasn't for the previous comment. The amount of detail is astonishing, the atmosphere is great -- this is AT LEAST the level of the DOTC pics :) 10/10

Oh very nice work. Perfect pixel positioning on the windows, nicely organic tree, and lovely composition.

Left hand grey path's a little blocky where it approaches the building, but no other obvious character boundaries either :)

Oh, and the raven in the foreground's spectacular!

Amazing. Wish (dream of) having such gfx in a game as for example Maniac Mansion II :)
Is there a chance to see some Workstages?
