Fantastic production and it was cool to hear you talk on Transmission64. Keep going!

Fantastic effort all! My favourite FX are the VHS rewind and "the old movie" – they totally changed my perception of C64 gfx.

Can't wait to see "old vectors" @ 12.5 FPS using this technique :D
And some codepr0n effects with VHS like rewind.

Thank you everybody for your heart warming comments. It was so much fun to make this demo with all these wonderful people. Everybody just giving their blood, sweat and tears to make the best effort possible.
I just have to say one thing with regards to the discussions about coops and also animations - not to hi-jack the discussion or to bring it over here in the comments. I just want to say: I make demos because it is fun to make them. Getting peer recognition means a lot - no matter if it is a live crowd cheering or if it is comments here or over on Pouet. However, the essence of demo making for me is to spend my time on making something I am passionate about. Making a coop like this, with people who are just as passionate about this hobby as I am, that's the best. That's the one thing that makes it worth putting in the endless hours. At the end of the day, that's what this is about. Having fun. So put away your hostilities and remember that we do this for f**king fun. It's not about winning or putting other peoples work down. So please acknowledge the effort that we all(!) put into making demos - animations or not.

This seems to be a good demo, however I totally hate fadeout musics so 5.7/10 out for me. Could be good, but that's just a yesterday's steak. No flow and you lack a DJ.

I cannot seem to get over with that demo asks to turn side after two sides, disk 1 side a and b, so it wants side 1 again instead of 3?
I didnt try to insert side 1 again though...

3 disk side? "WTF". awesome effort and a great fun demo again!
What is the receipt for this range of intense high-quality & entertaining productions? In such a high frequency of demo releases?

Bz: I thought you guys were burned out to Ash(es)!! last time. no wonder you rise from the ashes
like a (Phoenix "code") hmm, I see a pattern here!

To all of you, congratulations
Great Work, Great Atmosphere, Great Effort! Unbelievable lot of content. Great on all areas.

I am also suprised to see so much great content from the ZOO party! this is a Statement!

Awesome work, everyone!

I'm not sure I qualify for a credit .. all I did was to answer Trap's "let's make another Christmas demo!" with "how about Halloween?".

Lovely parts throughout. Some decent code porn - not so much on the "wow! how in the heck?" scale perhaps .. but this is a holiday-themed demo and I know that all the groups involved are holding back their "wow" parts for X ;-)

Stunning graphics and really nice music throughout. Plus, yeah, impressive again to see this pulled off with a large crew in such a short time - no easy feat at all.

Next time, the whole scene should dive in :-)

Thanks for all the kind words! This was a race for sure. But so much fun being part of a superb team doing this together and polishing things until the end. Making stuff together at a rapid pace is just so rewarding. I can't work in any other way. I hope the love of making this shows.

Wonderful demo. I especially enjoyed the little "intermission" bits with the animated hand and musical ditties. The Thriller cover is right on the money. It looks like a lot of love and thought has been put into the presentation and I think that's a really good thing.

we are getting closer and closer to The Ultimate C64 Demo, made by the whole scene :|
this is flawless, how it connects between parts, how it impresses and amuses inside each. special fuck you / love you must go to Psycho (1st music) and Flotsam, you need not to outdone yourselves so hard ;)

anonym: That is quite right about ”Nutcracker”. Thing is that tune has always caused a bit of a spooky/twisted feeling each time I hear it. So it was more about to catch that feeling. And the rest of The Pumpkins liked the upbeat cover and mood too. So yep :)

Amazing work. Once again I'm not only impressed by the outcome, but the ability to manage a diverse team of so many groups and all of it in 98 days and it's not even for an X party :) Love it <3, almost all of my favourite groups in one prod. Gorgeous credits, too.

Next demo, by the whole scene :D . Oh wait, that would be the demo of the year right?

Is one of the tunes not from the Nutcracker suite (i.e. a Christmas theme)? On disk 1

Aomeba, The *cough* movie "Slash with Ash" was before Evil Dead (since it was released in 1978), so he hadn't had his hand chopped off yet. Yup, we got the whole storyline covered ;)

Only one thing to nit pick about: Ash is supposed to have his chainsaw fixed to his chopped arm.
