@Joe Note that I exceeded relatively 'harshly' with this one – used midtones as 'the dark' in the beginning and in the end the real dark tones (0, 9 , 6, b, 2, 4, 8) just to smoothen it a bit and in the rasters to give it more depth. Basicly the image works with 'cold tones' (c, 3, 1) and 'warm tones' (a, 7, 1). That's prolly the only bit special thing with this image, besides it's 384 x 272 px.

Out of the elegance of such "simple methods in theory" to go about an image, to have the rastertiming fixed and the extraordinary look it produces it's a master piece!

I won't claim to be king of anything - if, then maybe of stubborn nerdiness maybe :)

Electric is (and always will be) the true master, because all the pixels and this compostion is his incredible creative work! When it comes to the code behind, I'll write something in the prod notes.

Electric yes of course I watched all stages of work! I have a slightly different method of preparing the image, however, each method, as long as it is effective and works, is ok. And please don't be modest. Your graphics broke me into pieces like the background element in your image ;-) Best regards, Master!

Thanks everyone and especially thanks to Copyfault once again for the effort on this. Just a 'party image' with no special idea besides 'breaking glass and reflections'. Note that the ZIP has some workstages if you're interested on my working methods (which vary though).

This picture stands above all I've seen so far! It was my personal no.1, but ending up second in such a fierce GFX-compo isn't too bad either ;)

Again, thanks for letting me support with code <3

I looooove it. So amazing: content, colours used attention to detail!
When I saw it first I was convinced this can not be a c64 pic. Must be Amiga or ST.

When you're tempted to think you've "seen it all" and everything has "already been done" when it comes to C64 graphics, stuff like this drops and gives you opportunity to rethink what you assumed. Perfect in every aspect, mad details. Wow!
