This started out with the beautiful main image by Ax!s, and an idea to play with the light rays. The main difficulty of this demo is coordinating all the different tasks that each need to be run with different time tolerances: the scroller, the sprite multiplexer, the fairy dust sprite layer, the bitmap blitter, music player and sprite resource loader all running in concert, some of them reqiring access to the memory below the I/O.
