Nice entertaining production. The final tune by Linus is brilliant! | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 21 January 2007
Yeah, I like the animation too and the music isn't too bad either ;-)
The most disturbing thing about this demo were the screen inits in between the parts. Couldn't you have kept $d011 and $d020 to #$00? | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 21 January 2007
Linus, you're making me wanna dance. please add it seperately to csdb, so I can give it a 10 ;)
and now the demo, other tunes are from good to very good.
ppl complain about quality of the animations, but ahwell, I think its cool we get these type of demos these days aswell (cheers stuffie;). it adds some more color to the pallette of 64 demos, eventhough things still could and should be improved. | User Comment Submitted by Klegg on 2 January 2007
I really love the second tune in the demo, for some reason. Can't stop listening to it.. (if you run it in vice, turn off true drive emulation and the demo will stop at that tune)

Thanks for showing me the demo on the MO, Tuff! Linus rocks! | User Comment Submitted by dalezy on 9 August 2006
the tune by linus contains some of the best programmed drums i've been allowed to listen to on a c64. | User Comment Submitted by Optimus on 7 May 2006
A bad surprise to see this reach the 3rd place from Unicorn (moral winner). The animation gfx have worse quality than some older animation demos I have seen (Reanim8ed). It didn't appealed to me. | User Comment Submitted by QuasaR on 19 April 2006
The music is great but the rest? Sorry, but that's ages away from other "animated" demos like Reanim8ed. Street Tuf: Better stay on SuperCPU with those animations. | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 18 April 2006
I can only second, third and fourth the statement below of the end-music being el porno grande! Awesome job, Linus!
btw: for those that enjoyed the tron video there's an outtake-d81-disk available at www.daupara.de/animatron/animatron_hidden_disc.d81 | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 17 April 2006
I am the only one around who dislikes this "demo"? Cant wait to read the nice words in the review of the next NSR. Nice story here huh guys? :) | User Comment Submitted by vigo on 17 April 2006
great stuff... benson, tuffy & fix... thanx broz... | User Comment Submitted by hollowman on 16 April 2006
nice intro and endpart. the rest wasnt too pleasant | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 16 April 2006
The last tune by Linus roxxorz! Overall impression, a bit slower pace due to loading times. | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 16 April 2006
I feel entertained. What a long start sequence! the music is pure SID powah!! | User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 16 April 2006
Entertaining production! Bonuspoint for the most innovative sid sounds in ages (the endtune made me faint): Linus for president! | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 16 April 2006
Good music.
However,
that graphics mode makes baby Jesus cry. | User Comment Submitted by G-Fellow on 16 April 2006 User Comment Submitted by Scout on 15 April 2006
The animators strike back!
Great job, Tuffie!
| User Comment Submitted by Domey on 15 April 2006
Too bad it's so blocky. Makes no match against Hitmen's "Reanim8ed", for example.
Luckily the music rescue the loss. | User Comment Submitted by Tch on 15 April 2006
The music was very nice, especially the end tune.
The rest was a bit like: "WTF!,damn TV is fucking up,again".. ;)
Codewise it is probably not that bad though.. |
