In early September 1989 Thorsten (also known as Reptil/Shining 8) left Doughnut Cracking Service (the german section from 1989) to be part of a new group together with mostly local friends, all based around the large area of Frankfurt/Main (Germany), from several other groups. Before the decision was made to call the new group SUCCESS, he made the suggestion to give it the name ARROGANCE, which was however rejected by the other initial members of SUCCESS. Therefore he decided to change his own handle THORSTEN (which actually was his first name) to THE ARROGANCE.
Trivia :
* Actually THE ARROGANCE were 2 guys, named Thorsten and Thomas. The decision to work together, using one handle, was made in late 1989 (round about november /december as far as i remember).

* he was a member of the following groups (chronological order): SHINING 8 (alias Reptil), SHARKS (alias Thorsten), DOUGHNUT CRACKING SERVICE (alias Thorsten), SUCCESS (alias The Arrogance), SUCCESS+X-RAY (alias The Arrogance), Legend (The Arrogance), BRAINBOMBS
* Founder of SUCCESS.
* He had a huge influence on how the illegal C64 scene in the large area around Frankfurt/Main looked like. He always made sure, that at least one big scene name (Shining 8, The Sharks or Success) was located there. He left Shining 8 in the middle of 1989 together with most of the other members of the Frankfurt-Section to join The Sharks. Later on changed his handle to Thorsten, left The Sharks and joined Doughnut Cracking Service (DCS) together with RAP, Stet and Steel. On the 2nd of September 1989 he left DCS, changed his handle to The Arrogance and formed SUCCESS together with all his friends of the FFM-Posse from Shining 8, Sharks, DCS, Dynamix, Netmen, Baboons and Share. The rest is history!
* He quit the scene in 06/1990 to concentrate on his studies. He was finally admitted to the bar as a lawyer in 2001. Ain't it curious that someone who cracked plenty of games is now working as a lawyer with the following principle field of activities: IT-, Media- and especially Copyright-Law ?! ;)

* He was a member of the following groups (in chronological order): SHARKS (alias T.J.), SUCCESS (alias T.J 09/89 - 12/89), SUCCESS, SUCCESS+X-RAY, LEGEND, X-RAY, X-RAY+TRANSCOM (alias The Arrogance 11/89 - 12/93), BRAINBOMBS, SUCCESS (rebuilt 1991), SUCCESS+THE RULING COMPANY and some more short appearances in other groups like Pandora etc.
* Founder of SUCCESS. Rebuilt SUCCESS in 09/91.
* He slowed down his activities during 1993 and finally quit the scene (more or less) in the end of 1993, although he was still around occasionally until 1995. Nowadays he is working as a manager for a european multinational aerospace corporation.

P.S. (14.02.08) Just read the new added episode about Trinity.. well yep, something happened at that time before we rebuilt success. Can't really remember anymore, that period was definitly too short, but part of my history anyway. So just take it as what it seemed to be.. another very short chapter more, but of no importance at all.
