The style and pace reminds me a bit of 'Access Denied' by Reflex, except here with wordplay. I guess at this gruesome pace you burn through code and data very fast, which might be forgiving for the extreme short length in this case.
Original and unique; demos like this should remain that way and not be copied all over the place or they lose their charm. | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 5 November 2010
What an excellent demo. Sander has an incredible talent. His creations are distinctive. | User Comment Submitted by null on 20 March 2010
Not exactly my kind of demo, but still nice and enjoyable :_) | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 13 October 2009
Such an ear orgasmic funky tune. One of master Heins best. Unfortunately much too short. Those chords get under my skin. And the fantastic speech. Top notch. | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 1 March 2007
really cool that this production has been nominated. it's worth it. | User Comment Submitted by TDJ on 1 March 2007
Oswald, congrats. Now stop hijacking this thread ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 1 March 2007 User Comment Submitted by TDJ on 1 March 2007 User Comment Submitted by macx on 14 February 2007 User Comment Submitted by Joe on 28 December 2006
Fantastic music in this baby! | User Comment Submitted by WVL on 11 November 2006
I added a download link for a version that _should_ be C128DCR compatible (or 1571-compatible in general..). Then again, it's not very thoroughly tested.. ;) | User Comment Submitted by ZZAP69 on 7 November 2006
Im sorry, but i don´t really understand why this demo has got so much attention. I am a big fan of Focus´ demos in genereal, but how well designed this might be, and how wise the advices might be - it´s still just a heap of text. Thumbs up for a good soundtrack! | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 6 November 2006
Burglar, yeah. That is what I am saying. ;D
You vote once, then you change your vote in a while. Maybe for the better or the worse. No more static and copied votes like in the good old days. :P | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 5 November 2006
changed my vote twice now, this one grows on you, not in the least because of tempo, perfect choreography, lyrics and the fab soundtrack. | User Comment Submitted by Intensity on 8 October 2006
Really nice demo mirroring the today's society. I think it is good as it is, simply and short, but impressive. Could be maybe a bit longer, furthermore I miss some GFX. But The Music (which is good both on 6581 and 8580) and the designish paragons really makes me weee, err, I mean, just weee?! :D | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 15 August 2006
OH MY GAWD! i just wet my pants. excellent. period. | User Comment Submitted by Cuc on 15 August 2006
DEMO OF THE YEAR imho ;) I want more and more from u guys.. | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 9 August 2006
Excellent piece of demo. Printed art and the art of printing. Print more! | User Comment Submitted by Crimson on 5 August 2006 User Comment Submitted by Alchemist on 3 August 2006
Just beautiful. I could watch this over and over. | User Comment Submitted by dalezy on 2 August 2006
slick. should hit mtv. now. | User Comment Submitted by Dbug on 1 August 2006
(I prefer the remix song to the original)
It's very nicely done, loads fast, could almost be an intro for some tv show :) | User Comment Submitted by ne7 on 1 August 2006
great demo, real nice music, wicked design. the only thing that would make me like it more is if it was longer :) which is no bad thing. excellent!! | User Comment Submitted by ptoing on 31 July 2006
This is extremely awesome imo. Very cool design and I think it's the best demo from BFP for sure. 3 Thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by Burglar on 31 July 2006
Did anyone else notice that if you choose the remix, you're focus seriously moves from eyes to ears? | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 31 July 2006
Very fresh style! Excellent work, guys! | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 31 July 2006
This one should have won.
Period. | User Comment Submitted by Tch on 31 July 2006
This is like one of those songs that stick to you the first time you hear it.
When you learn the lyrics, it becomes even more beautiful!
This is design at its best! 8D | User Comment Submitted by Nightlord on 30 July 2006
this is my personal favorite in bfp demo compo. design is great and the coding is way harder than catches the eye. This is the first demo I see that the design was used so forwardly and fastly that it started to present a technical challenge of an important magnitude. very fresh very very inspiring. | User Comment Submitted by Hoild on 30 July 2006
A demo that uses minimalistic gfx in a stylish and coherent way.
Unfortunately, the thematics of the production are not as strong and focused as the visuals.
But Sander's lead at the design dept. is very apparent, resonating strongly with his gfx compo entry, "Obstacles", from the very same party.

I've never seen something like that before! A++ | User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 30 July 2006 User Comment Submitted by hollowman on 30 July 2006
feels fresh and very different from what is usually seen on c64. too bad that most of the really slick gfx looked bad on the bigscreen | User Comment Submitted by Tao on 30 July 2006
I really loved this demo, too bad it only ended up second. =/ | User Comment Submitted by Mirage on 29 July 2006
Don't forget, Hein... TDJ did the timing... although it might not look like he did a lot looking at the credits now ;P | User Comment Submitted by Hein on 29 July 2006
For the record, Sander did the design/gfx. WVL/TDJ/Mirage did the code. It's just that they locked us out, so we can't complete the credits. Sigh. :) | User Comment Submitted by Metal Maniac on 29 July 2006
Nice job Mr.Judge and Mr.Hein, cheers and thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 29 July 2006
Oh yeah.. afer I got completely eaten and brainwashed by the job I do (for last 6 years) this kind of use of basic "signs" (words) is quite refreshing to watch. And now let's get back to the brave new world social networks, tagging, digging, ajaxing and web 2.0.... ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Deev on 29 July 2006
some nice ideas, interesting to watch and good style! | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 29 July 2006
as a known blockhead i don't get it, but the flow and soundtrack alone deserve a kiss. | User Comment Submitted by Zyron on 29 July 2006
Very slick & clean, I like! | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 29 July 2006
I really dig these kind of demos. Congratulations on a job well done | User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 29 July 2006
very interesting and fast design! ;_) | User Comment Submitted by A3 on 29 July 2006
Allthough I'm mostly into old school style demos, I really did like this one. Nice work. | User Comment Submitted by MRT on 29 July 2006
download link fixed, I guess something went wrong with the UMTS connection during uploading.. oh well, at least it kept you busy for a while :) | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 29 July 2006 User Comment Submitted by tlr on 29 July 2006
