Functions :
Musician, Swapper

Handlestory :
I entered the C64 scene as Dr Lamer. Later (quite soon actually) changed the handle to Jojeli. Now after a comeback to the scene and a few years of consideration, decided to change it to Frostbyte.

Trivia :
I left the C64 scene at late -92 or early -93 due to being totally bored with the prods released at that time, thinking that everything on this machine that can be done, has been done. Demos and games seemed to get worse and worse every day. What comes to games, that was true (but only for a few years... Things have improved greatly since). What comes to demos, oh how wrong was I...

Even though I left the scene, I never fully abandoned it (or the C64), but just kept following it passively through my friend, Aomeba/Siesta. Closer to Y2K I got more and more "actively passive", and got interested in other scenes too, mainly VIC-20, partially thanks to ease of getting new releases from the web. I even made a few tunes on VIC using Fisichella, and attended Alt party V and VI in 2004 and 2005.

I moved to Netherlands in 2006, and a couple of years later found out that there's going to be a C64 only party close to where I lived, so of course it was a must to attend. That party was X'2008. I went there with Aomeba who flew from Finland, dragging an SX-64 with us that I had bought just a while earlier for repair, and that Aomeba repaired on the day before party. Totally worth it. :) And what a great party it was! Felt really pumped and full of C64 energy after it. I was keen to finally start composing on C64 (a dream since the beginning of my "scene career"), and maybe learn a bit of coding as well... But as usual, time passed, nothing got done, and enthusiasm faded away.

Many things happened since. I moved back to Finland in 2014, and in 2015 we went to Zoo Party with Aomeba. After the party we were pumped again. We thought that it is now or never - we're not getting any younger. If we want to become active on C64 scene again and actually produce something, this is the time. So things started rolling. Aomeba got in touch with Adder, we woke up Siesta from the dead, I began composing and we made few demos. Three years later we all co-joined Artline Designs (while Siesta still producing stuff too), and we are still on that road.
