BEST c64 party EVER until now!!!

I enjoyed it soooo much with all of you guys!
Damn it...this was such a GREAT event!!
Will remember it for many years for sure!

And about the demos:
Well, CAN'T say anything more about them
I second Deekay with his remarks about them.
It was simply F*CKING UNBELIEVABLE what was shown there.
I watched those gems like various times again and again on my 1541U since I'm back here again!!
And I _still_ can't f*cking believe it! :-D

Thank you ALL I met over there and BEST regards from me to anyone still living the BEST SCENE SPIRIT still around today!! :-D

Bye,
Weasel / Padua

P.S.: And I LOOOOVE my 1541U, mates! :-D You HAVE to get one as well if you haven't yet! Gideo! You ARE the master!! :-D

This event was awesome. Good to meet both new and old friends and to be able to broadcast live from the event in the middle of nowhere was cool as well.

Go to http://scenesat.com/ to download a show broadcasting the music- and demo-compo and http://slayradio.org to download Reyn Ouwehands performance.

Very nice event. Great thnx to the orgas to make such an event. Friendly atmosphere at all, tons of beer, nice sleeping-possibilites, good food. I've really enjoyed the outstanding live-performance by jeroen tel. The Party was it worth at all. Everything was perfect and more than i've guessed.

Epic event indeed. Just a little too crammed, so please consider getting a bigger place next time if this many ppl show up. I don't mind paying more if it means more table space.

It is worth noting, that for the first time in history we managed to drink X empty! ;-D Enno was actually trying to nick booze on saturday night by going around telling the police is outside and they need to confiscate all our alcohol! 8)))
I think we set a new record for attendees, too, that might've been the reason, though none of the orgas seems to know the definitive number... But it's somewhere around 200, which is quite amazing for a c64-only party in 2008! ;-)

Thanks to the arrangers and attendants for a superb party! To me it's the best party sofar!
I wish I had more time to talk and meet some of the people I missed out on. There were nearly too many faces to remember, and the alcohol didn't exactly help me :-)

I think this was probably the best party I've ever been to. The Democompo definately was the best c64 democompo ever in the history of c64, I'm rather goddamn sure about that...
I expected some great demos to be released, but I had no idea it would be THAT mindblowing! There were five killer-demos (Booze, Instinct+Hz, FLT, Xenon, Oxyron) and one really good one (Extend)...

I actually cried after the democompo, and while it was running I think the farmer's wife was just about to call dutch riot control because people just went fucking crazy and screamed like we had a torture gangbang going! ;-D I still have a sore throat (Reyn's great concert and Jeroen's DJ set prolly also had to do sth with that!)

After this compo, I think we might just as well sell all our 64s and be done with it, there's just nothing that can top this! <:-)

The only areas of improvement are maybe better food, way more stable powersupply (how many power outages were it in the end? like six?) and some information on when the organizers actually arrive themselves! ;-D

I went there in X95 and it is all a big fraud. The organizers, rumours say they are from Holland, promised some live-event with Jeroen Tel. This did not take place, repeatedly, NOT. Do not trust them. Thus I will show up with a big entourage of Hitmen. It's all a MERCIFUL RELEASE.

It would be so fucking cool if you guys could get reyn ouwehand to come and play a gig at the x2008!!

I know the chances of that to happen are close to zero, but that would make this years x party a even more fucking awesome event.

I'd even be willing to shell out some extra bucks for that!

EDIT : i am happy.
