UFLI?

Hi everyone,

I tried to google around in order to learn how ufli works but could not find anything. I know how fli, afli, shfli, shifli and finally xfli works.

can someone please explain how ufli works and what are its limitations. i tried to look at the displayer code of that veronica picture. i see sprites involved. but i do not understand the code...

Speaking of computed graphic modes, do nuvie's use any special tricks? I saw a claim that it was freely coloured but needed to use REU to do this. Is it just stuffing colour RAM per line?

I seriously doubt that; I already had to bend over backwards to get an 11 char wide free–colour image for REUtastic

I really should add Oswald to the credits for that one. Is there a role of “fellow gymnast”?

Nuvie's are in Nufli format : hires every second line FLI with 6 sprites underlayer + 1 sprite to cover the FLI bug.

It's certainly not free coloring.

Actually it's two sprites on (or rather under) the FLI bug! ;-) One muco and one hires. and there's 40 char FLI every 8 lines, too, so in practice the FLIbug (5 colors/4 colors+lt.grey) is actually more colorful than the rest of the picture (3 colors per 8x2 area max)
