Release id #210686 : Kongo Kong
Not sure if this one's a keeper here in the database.
15 years ago we deleted pretty much the same version (also with Zeltinger screen) "for reason: commercial, cracks available"
I find it unlikely this has really been the original version. Rather looks like some Zeltinger smashed a text screen in front of it (which might make it a crack, though a rather lame one even by 1983 standards) |

Fair enough to keep as crack IMHO, lame or not.
Maybe Zeltinger ruled the craxx0r charts in 1983?! ;) |

Lame or not is not up to us to judge. It's tagged. Keep it. Everyone started somewhere, even the elite, even if they might have stayed elite only on their school yard. :D |

How bizarre.
Someone actually learned how to put the BASIC RAM start to another location ($002B-$002C #43-#44 -- Pointer to beginning of BASIC area. Default: $0801, #2049.) and then put his BASIC "intro" to the end of the game data at $3b30.
only to obfuscate that the intro is actually in BASIC.
But then forgot to disable the run/stop key
(press run/stop at the white intro screen and LOL).
Fun fact: the "please wait" does nothing. it is just a counter. |
