Release id #30717 : War Cars Construction Kit [Import]

Some brought up the use of the [Import] tag on releases.

It wasn't even my idea-- someone put it on an entry I created-- and I liked it! So now I use it whenever there is an import screen.

I think that this can also be used on US imports to Europe as well. It just signifies that the crack is not in its original state or has something extra...

This will help to keep the database cleaner and more organized!

This will also be helpful when a demo has an import screen on it (see Mental Power).

And whoever had the original idea--- thanks!

Well,I can see how it makes sense when an NTSC-game was imported to Europe.
But I won´t use it for Pal-games being imported to North-America.
Seeing the groups that released it, tells me all I need to know.

What´s next: War Cars Construction Kit [Import][NTSC/PAL][100%]? ;)

Heh, I see your point. The last thing we need around here is a TOSEC-style naming convention.

But the one thing that I have noticed in some entries (take Eaglesoft, for example) is that there are multiple entries for the same game... one for the original US release, and more for various group imports.

One of the reasons I think that adding the [Import] tag is a good idea is when I first started adding entries here, someone got all wound up that I added a demo (that was already here) with a USSPE import screen (Mental Power).

Tag it with an [Import] tag, and it's clear.

We'll see how it goes...

An aside... one US group used to release stuff (as a joke on the ++ system) as

"Gamename +++ almost a mega"

Wish I could remember who that was...

I commented the use of [import] in the title just because I was thinking of all imports I've added that DON'T have the import-thing in the title. Will I have to re-name all of those? :-0 Otherwise, I can see a point why it could be useful. Should we continue with the [import] sign from now on?
