Secret Man: if you say 'noone likes this group', you refer to the 'hardcore' CSDb'ers who like ranting over every behaviour that is generally regarded as unwanted.

I do not approve of most things people in Crypt do or say, but in the end I do not care too much either. If this is what these guys like to do, so be it. It doesn't bother me.

Besides, even if you do not like someone, you can still watch his releases. If only to find something to whine about.

There wasn't a word about quality in my review. Neither did I say it sucked, was shit or whatever. No hard feelings, no cursing, just fair and honest.

All I said was that if Crypt can make this, they can do better. Surely you must admit that is a rather simple demo: a scroll, a picture and a sprite move that doesn't even go into the MSB area. No open borders, no special sprite effects, not even a clever way to bring up the picture.

It would have been nicer to see a demo that really would have taken a bit more effort to make. A more humorous or informative scroll text would have spiced it up to begin with.

And about that picture you refer to: it was released as "graphics" not as "demo" and I only coded the routine to display the picture, because Knoeki isn't able to do that himself. Note the fact that I am not a member of his group, nore is it released by the group I am in.
The credits state my name, because I did the work, that's all. And yes, it's an even simpler program that what Crypt released, but I (not my group, but me personally) can do better and I have shown it already.
Over 14 years ago... that's why I said "been there, done that".

Now when will Crypt be there?
