Release id #95021 : Archaos Intro
Hi,
The tune currently specified for this intro doesn't seem to be the correct one: /MUSICIANS/M/MSK/FBI_or_Die_Rap.sid
It doesn't sound at all like the tune used in the intro. Unfortunately, I don't the real HVSC location, author or title of that tune... does anyone else around here?

the reason is that an intro is used multiple times with different tunes, now added another crack that uses that intro with the tune by o'neill you reported (it's the one on the c64intros site) while another uses a tune by Scortia. There are surely other cracks that use the same intro with other tunes, but hasn't been added to the intro entry yet. |

Just for my understanding; I alwyas kind of figured a different tune would mean a different release (unless it's chosen randomly in the same file or something).
So this assumption is wrong?
Anyway, tnx for pointing out it was scortia's Thai Myth. (An 'oh yeah! scortia right!' moment for me ;) ) |

why should it be a different release with just changed sid? that would lead to AT LEAST 49000 "versions" just by changing a tune.
to me even a change of logo and charset, not speaking of the scroller text and other trivial matters dosn't make it a different intro. there must be meaningful changes in code, and I really mean meaningful, not just an LDA #$00 STA $d020 changed to LDA #$01 =) |

I can't remember how many different songs I used in the intro, but I wouldn't be surprised if I used more than 2 |
