looking for an Oxyron demo with some kind of fire clouds
hi, i,am looking for an Oxyron demo with some kind of fire clouds/effect.
As far as i can remember it was in an intro and Graham used an illigal opcode
that makes the effect extremly fast. sorry for being lazy
but going through all the oxyron demo is a bit too much.. |

i agree ... most of it you have to learn step by step (better without opt.) ... i can't imagine that there are people who can understand full optimized assembler code on the fly :) *respectIfYouCan* |

that means the scene was dead in 1988. one of the first things i recieved from fellow demosceners were disks filled with routines to look at and use :)
that said: the type of effect mentioned in the original question (fire running in char mode) can be easily done fast enough with just a bit of unrolling, no magic required :) |
