Seriously guys, are they for real with all of this? I find the whole reincarnation completely pointless.... leave the breadbox alone for what it was made for I'd say.
If it's just for a laugh then fair enough... it's just the site has a lot of questionable info. |

I'm still thinking this is a hoax, however I tried today and they're collecting money for the pre-order. :) |

A modern C64 with hardare to connect with todays other computers in an easy way, how is that not good ?
the only problem is how perfect the vic and sid is.
if it suxx or for ex. the sid has no filter and sounds too far away from a 6581, then its all gonna be a fail :D |

$600 for that crap tank. $30 for the original, genuine breadbox off ebay. What do you choose? :) |

Actually I'd choose C64 motherboard in a lovely Atari 65/130XE case but commy mobo is too fucking big. What a waste of space :) |

For those who don't know yet , the 'Commodore USA' thing includes C64 mode only by emulation.. (no SID, no nothing, it's just a PC in an ugly wannabe-C64 case) As they say to also offer PET, VIC-20 "modes" etc. it's very very probably VICE.
They also announce to implent a so-called 'Commodore OS' but this will not be shipped with the first sales, but later (when?)... this could be interesting but will surely run on others PC too.
Better get the real thing from the flea market or eBay! |

I'd say why not have one, just for fun ? :) It'd be nice pc-ing using a c64ish case :) |
