IRCNet c64 channels

Is there an IRC channel on efnet or ircnet that is free of Deadbeat AND Icycool AND not dead as a doornail?

groepaz OK negative nancy :) Not everyone feels as you do.

I'm not going anywhere so the channel won't be either. There were other channels like TMR's that also stood the test of time, but he died so...

#c64friends was never anything like EFnet #c-64, totally disagree there.

I never said #c-64 was dead, I just am sick of the elitism and being lorded over by someone who hasn't done shit on the c-64 in over 30 years other than run their highly opinionated mouth.

CreaMD this is also exactly how I remember #c-64 back in the 90s. I miss that vibe, so I hoped to make a place that also had that vibe. So far it's working out. As a member of the channel long before most people I do remember how it was. Fun place to talk about c-64, cracking, talking to friendly people I miss (also RIP coolhand, Waveform, and many others). I learned to crack properly from hanging out there and talking to JJ-UCF, Sorex, and a few others. Loved to talk to crossbow while he was there, Oswald I learned a lot from too, and graham (sadly he is basically gone mentally).

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come there. As said, don't expect massive chat when people are sleeping, but there has already been some really really nice conversations there.

Keep the spirit, drop the ego.

Quote: For me #c-64 was the real source of proper c64 coding education during my first years. Again, thanks Krillye, Graham (hope you're ok!), WVL, Cruzer and all the others. <3 Thanks once again! Without you guys I'd come nowhere on this devish platform.

yeah same here, never gonna forget Fungus explained me how to do FPP or plasma, thx man :)

and Jacky, you were such a fast learner soon after you appeared you teached me :D
