Release id #30712 : Book of the Dead - Part I [Import]
Should this release be divided into 2 entries?
(Book of the Dead - Part II [Import])
Had a little "chat" with Ninjasbane about this some time ago and would like to know what the rest of you guys think... |

The game were released with both parts at the same time. So it should be in the same entry.

Ah, you just had to run this to the masses, eh TWR?
Separate files, separate cracktros, separate import screens.
Separate entries on the CSDb.
I doubt that I'll change my mind and alter the entry UNLESS someone can show me that part 1 and part 2 were included in the same retail box at the point of purchase.
Now maybe I'll go split that Lucky Luke entry. ;)

I wont take part in your internal stuff
But if you check the release here on gb64 you can see it consists of 2 parts - part 1 and part 2.
What makes it sure it was on the same release is simple. They were cracked on the same day and I doubt CRL would do 2 seperate releases on the same day. |

There is no "internal stuff" to speak of, really. But the irony of TWR correcting one of my entries is crushing, considering how many of his American releases that I have had to correct by merely reading the included scrolltext.
I know the details of the release, I can even tell you where I got it 20 years after the fact (Lighthouse BBS in the 313 area code). It wasn't LNX'd, so as far as I'm concerned, it was two separate releases. It has separate cracktros, separate import screens, etc etc etc...
But I stand by my initial update requirement: if these games were sold in the same retail box, I will change the entry and combine it. If not, it stands.

Well it is the same release. I got the original tape in my collection.
Side 1 contains Part 1 and side 2 contains part 2. Same system CRL used for other adventure games they released. |

Do what we tell you and what "american" releases have you corrected?
Never heard of any corrections earlier... |

While talking about Book of the Death. How about fixing the Front version you uploaded earlier or atleast mark it, so people know it only got one part and misses part 2. |
