it's strange because if I edit the entry, the flag "Make link visible for people not logged in." is checked.

Hehe.

I wondered when people would start noticing. :)

I have some problems with the main supporter of the server hosting CSDb - Google Ads, which have started to notice these kind of images, and dosn't like to have their ads on such pages.

Because of this I am currently going through EVERY SINGLE screenshot, and marking those who are "dirty".
To make it easier, theese pages will simply not be displayed when you are not logged in, but when all this is over, they will be displayed again - without any ads however - but then again you guys never sees theese ads anyway! ;)

The complete checkup I'll be doing myself.
It's not as bad as it sounds. Can check 1000 images in a few minutes. :)

The moderators already have the option to mark releases, so future stuff will also be checked.
Perhaps truested users should also be able to help out? :)

Well. The hosting is a dedicated server which i switched to in 2006.
Before that there was quite a lot of trouble with CSDb running slow and making to much load etc., and I got angry mails from the hosting company from time to time.

Such a hosting costs, but there has been almost no downtime since, and I can do whatever I want on the server. No restrictions, and I like it like that. :)
Also I got the hosting through a local company I used to work for, and therefor know them and got a good price I think, but it still costs a bit.

So..

(We are digressing from the entry that started this thread, but who cares?)

Does the donation thermometer on the main page reflect the real status of finance?
Do you really run CSDb from those donations alone?

Or am I asking delicate questions now? ;-)

Well - havn't checked prices lately, but I have heard of people having cheap hostings and also heard what problems they sometimes run into.. :)

And yes, the meter should be correct. However some numbers is a bit behind, so sometimes the meter jumps when I get the real numbers.
The funding comes from the ads and the donations people make. (Thanks btw. ;) )
The ads usually pays for 40-65% of the hosting. Donations for the rest.

Ah so, once you are done with marking all the 'dirty' ones, ppl would be able to see, them just without ads? That's not oo bad :D

Any idea when this might happen?

Please - don't push our army of developers!
And what the f**k - you all got accounts - no need to paste these obviously _NSFW_ entries to your colleagues anyhow.
