Event id #35 : JOY - MGF - WWE Party

Who the f**k added Paco as the organizer to this party? He didn't have anything to do with it at all ..

By the way, I added the final demos from the compo, so all 7 contributions are now in the list.

Haha that was me, I just wanted to add him as visitor , but probably I was still too sleepy and took the one option before (:

Ok, you I forgive :)

I was almost convinced it was Paco himself (even though I've never seen him here before): his ego was that big.

A big ego for such a small person,

Oh well JOY * MGF * WWE was my first big C64 party and probably gave me the 'JOY' to continue on the c64 ;)

I doubt Paco has (had) a big ego. It may seem that way.

Well, he didn't want to pay the entrance fee because he was the world famous Paco. I call that a big ego.

Apart from that I never had any problems with him, we had several nice phone calls prior to that, afterwards he didn't call me anymore (I made him pay the entrance fee).

Well, looking back I think differently. Big mouth is not a big ego, rather a compensation for a small ego, kicked down by the ruthless facts of life.

Anyway, nice of you to add the other entries aswell.

Let's just say he had a big mouth then instead of a big ego: he was a small ego who pretended to be a big ego :)

To his defense: he was active in the late 80's, and there are lots of sceners who were famous without much information to their entry here. And Paco was a 'big name' in the cracking scene back then for sure ..

TDJ: I just found it quite ironic that his entry was lacking quite alot here. As I never heard about him before, I surely wanted to see who he was.
But as you say, there are lots of "legends" that are missing. So, just keep on adding!

You are right. And I will keep adding stuff into this db, especially concentrating on the Dutch scene ofcourse. Case in question: I even added some info to Paco's profile (last name, and appearantly he was a member of The Dream Team, something I only found out by reading a scrolltext from that group yesterday)

Well, I've got shitloads of demos by them that are not in csdb yet, and I knew Supertoon personally but it's been a real long time ago .. Ofcourse we can always ask Hein, he knew them even better.

Well if you could, I would be happy... stil regret not bringing a camera there.

I went there with two others (mcd&rtc) and we carried 2 drives, 1 tv, 1 monitor, sleeping bags etc. all in one big bag!... , it survived the trip! hehe..

The chinese food was great, and because of that we server chines at X parties :)

The chinese food might have been great for you, but I almost broke my back trying to serve it to the hungry scene posse out there .. there was 'bami' all over the floor!

Nonsense, at the X people patiently stand in line, and very politely ask for another plate, at the Joy+MGF+WWE party my life was threatened several times if I didn't hurry giving them their food ..

Come to think of it: you were one of those guys!
