Check this:
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=59445
and then this:
River Night

I see no credit in the scroll for Bimber, this is so fucking lame!! I know some people here are in touch with Speccy scene people, any ideas??

Wasn't it terribly common for C64 sceners to copy Amiga scene pics? (That were ironically also referenced from artists such as Boris Vallejo)

direct conversion.. so what? plenty of you convert graphics from other platforms all the fucking time. I think the c64 author of the program *should* have given credits to the original artist.

I consider cross-system-ripping/conversion lame in any case.
(unless its the same artist, of course)

I completely agree. Where is the time when graphics was pixelled on real C64 without any f**cking conversions?

Then be prepared for the master-pixelist releasing 100 pics...
This is rather ripping than conversion.

You remember that we're talking about Bimber, who is one of the few last ones that are doing it on the original hardware? ;)

@Groepaz: seems to be important to some people.

@Adam: Bimber's "River Night" is a "no copy" picture. He is the original artist, care to rephrase your comment? ;)

let me rephrase my comment for you: so the whole purpose of this thread is for you to whine and moan about how someone wasn't credited?? jeez. who gives a fuck?! get someone to fix the credits, shut the fuck up and stop wasting peoples time with pointless nonsense that can be easily rectified. there! comment re-phrased! :))
