Just curious if there is a list available of which groups are currently active. |

check the greetings list for demos & cracks of the last several year. Some people are 'active' but only release one thing every 4-5 years. so defining it wuld be a difficult thing to do. |

Just goes backward to releases as much you prefere and increase the counter ... doin' a pic or just a music once a year means probably active, for me imho is too less.
Just to guess a number I will say not more than 100 active groups...
there are few cracker / trainer group and some that makes demos, magazines, tools and so on ...
some releases just to parties but they do also big productions ...
a mix of the above is the nowadays scene ...
I take care to update personally Hokuto Force greetZ list and you can find there our friends in crack-side, in demos and derivated side, people who also take part to let the scene and his memories alive - and I'm talking about the ones that are on IRC and friends in 3 facebook pri-vate groups ... they still download here the new releases and the old ones. I/we find useless to greet people who disappeared during the years or just show up just at parties or with 1 message a year ... so at least we can talk about active sceners :) |

sveononacid is sort of active. there's some stuff bubbling under the surface. we have quite lot of unused stuff and WIP going on. I'm hoping that we could pull off demo next year. |
