Games from Ahoy! Magazine

Got a tip on Usenet at comp.sys.cbm about a magazine called Ahoy! that published BASIC games in the 80's for the C64 and the C128.

Made a couple of quick searches and found a few that's not on here (I did not check the whole list though) if someone is up for "cracking" :)

Oh, I don't know... they don't look like a lot of fun at a glance. I thought some archivist might be up to the task but I might be wrong. If they are interested they know where to go :)

The game archivists are probably very interested. And they are over at gb64... Here we preserve the scene.

Yeah, I know. People add all sorts of "cracks" with docs and intros included. I thought this might be something for them but it looks I was wrong since they seem to get all grumpy about it. Whatever.

It might be interesting for them, but not through csdb. contact them personally. It has nothing to do with grumpyness.

I guess it's not out of bounds to feel that way. A few years ago people were releasing games from the loadstar disk magazine from the US and people thought nothing of it then.

This one was on those disks, there were several "3D" maze games of the same type on there. It will give you an idea what their level of sophistication is.
