New 'Fun Stuff' section in CSDb

I've just added the initial work of what is to become the 'Fun Stuff' section of CSDb. No official link can be found on CSDb yet, but it's located on: http://noname.c64.org/csdb/funstuff/

This section will contain a lot of fun facts, statistics etc. about the C64 scene extracted from the information in CSDb.

For now only a few things can be seen here, but more will come and ideas for more are ofcourse welcome. :)

Enjoy

perhaps things like number of gfx-ers, musicians, crackers, etc..

number of demogroups, crackinggroups...

Number of duplicate handles, which handle was used the most??would be funny...

and perhaps largest amount of demo-product release...
product in general......

the most active group in a certain year (they did so many releases...)

Cool :)

Gives a sweet effect on a day when, say, Mekka/Symposium was held...

Also found out that 5 other people have the same birthday as me...

- groups with most active / inactive /former / all-time members
- groups with fewest active / inactive / former / all-time members (and on that one, probably dont count groups with 1 member =)
- relations releases/members, releases/years of activity
- productions that had highest # of people involved
- most active countries in a given year
- most active groups in a given year (and possible split by group type)
- most active sceners in a given year (and possible split by profession)

Couldn't help wondering how Slash and Digital Design ended up one of the most "productive" groups ever in the CSDB statistics... while I do understand that CSDB statistics can only be as accurate as the information entered (and depending on how complete that information is), I'd highly appreciate to either change the name from "productive" to something else, as long as cracks are counted in for this particular statistic...

.. also.. still waiting for the releases/members relation statistic.. =)

Constructive postings by newbies are always appreciated. Picking a random thread to draw attention to yourself and to the fact that you managed to pass the incredibly difficult sign-up process isn't really something to make the crowd cheer up. Anyway, welcome to CSDB.

The fun statistics has been here a long time in fact,
I don't see what's new ?

Maybe it was in the userpage, I don't remember.
I pulled out some stuff that I sent to the HVSC team long time ago.

I hope that when we manage to upload all the old demos from 1987-1988, we will prove they don't make nearly as many demos today :-)

But I'm not sure..
