someone pls tell me a way to filter out some groups releases from my entry-page / general view mode

if that's not possible i vote for temporary removing WD releases from beeing shown in the latest releases until this issue is solved

i have to agree with richard somewhat... digging through old disks and releasing whatever unreleased stuff you find on them verbatim isn't quite what i'd call activity either =) lazyness would be a better word for it =D

@Groepaz: I am sorry to hear that. Is all the important activity at csdb just lazyness? yes it IS really that simple, according to your logic.

I say keep 'm coming.
As single releases.

Not all tunes are equally good, but the sheer amount makes up for that ;)

Indeed.

Anyhow, would it be possible to raise the view of Latest Releases on the front page from 5 to 10? Five are really few really, not only in this case, but also after parties with a high quantity of releases.

I know "Latest Releases" can be clicked on to view more, but still...

Statically showing the 5 latest releases is maybe not the best idea. Maybe better to show last weeks releases or so, or last 3 days.. possibly customizable since each user probably knows best how often he/she usually visits CSDb..

Hmm, ok. but someone wants to *not* be notified about a certain type of releases. ..like when a certain scener/group releases more than ~3 releases during the same day.. Hmm.. Not so easy anymore ;)

@hcl: best way would be to crawl back into the old c64 mode of working = no internet, no irc, no csdb & only a party once in a while + swapping discs :)

Is there any way of browsing the last N releases that are (eg) demos? I can't see any way to skip past all the cracks and music, while still sorting releases by date :)

Its a difficult topic, i agree.

I have mixed feelings about wd's lates release spree.

While i do like seeing new stuff being released, i do feel a bit bothered when i see the last 20 releases being single tunes from wd that were made 10 years ago.

Ok fine, ED's cleaning out his closet. Nothing wrong with that.

But it seems more like emptying the trashcan when i see the amount of single tunes being dumped out with so little enthusiasm.

Ok sure, lets all go and grab every piece of unreleased scrap we did the past 10 years, make it executable and trash csdb with it. right on!
