Future of C64 demos
Just seen this awesome video http://vimeo.com/16219591 and instantly thought that this style is pretty much achievable on C64 (including the soundtrack)... it would be tricky to manage memory though.

Lovely stuff, Digger. I especially like the soundtrack. Glitch ftw. |

Great synaesthetic effect, but the looks are not my cup of tea. Wouldn't be switching frames as fast as needed on C64, though, you cannot draw more than a few lines in a frame. |

I'll be honest about this. I "HATE" these kind of demos and I don't see an "achivement" in them. Btw, I'm not talking about demos like Trans*Form. Trans*Form has a neat design and it's not in a "noise demo" category. I think some of you already noticed that I "HATE" speedfisters, jumalauta and groups like these. "eye fisting effects" are not hard to make and they don't look good. Many of noise demo makers tries to hide behind the synch but the point is, you can make a great synch with "not shitty looking effects" as well.
I know my message is not so friendly and look like a little disrespectful but read my first sentence of my post again... |

I think you need to grow older to get tired of cleaned up stuff, and see the beauty of these:

also I guess its harder to make the noise look nice & good, than make look clean stuff nice ? :)
I like both styles if its done well. |

But this demo looks good, the stuff in Digger's link doesn't. Of course, it's just taste in the end. |
