Is it really not allowed to release a product if the creators are not present personally ? If so whats the freakin idea ?

I know one bad thing about this.. polish scene problem... isolation... Although their isolation had different reasons.

Anyway, the rules are cool as they are. BE there and live the spirit, email-entry is for wankers anyway. Someone has to keep old habbits at least ;-D
There are dozens of parties which allow it, participate there then.

No smell - no party!

Probably I "dont" have a _reason_ not visiting floppy. I really just want to have some good wanks at home isntead. Guess I fear of having to shag organizers if my demo reaches top 3. Its natural that releasing a demo is more fun if being present = its not wanking that keeps me away.

With this rule you dont earn more visitors, just loose a few compo entrys. IMHO

One thing for sure: A party without a Resource demo is not as good as a party with a Resource demo.
But not accepting eMail-entries is a good idea, because a party is not just the Demo-Competition, but also the people and the atmosphere.
Having coders doing last-minute-fixes for the deadline just belongs to a party.
If you are that desperate to release something at floppy, do a coop-demo!

PS: Dont be afraid of orgas! Sometimes you only need to shake hands and grab the money :-)

do what tdj did, join a group of someone who is there, or let someone join resource for a few days. Problem solved...

Okay... I think I would like to join some group who would attend Floppy in order to release my pseudoscene production in the music compo. Anyone interested? Drop me a PM.

Ofcourse it does create a new problem: should I add House Designs to my name in csdb or not? Hmmm ...
