surprise and a chock

i was very surpriced when i saw there still are a c-64 scene.the first thing I thaught it was totaly lame.
but after thinking about it for a few days, i think it is pretty nice to se that some people keep holding the c-64 alive.that machine where it all started.....all of us who has been a part of that scene, may as me miss this scene when we all ruled,,,, yes even the lamers i miss.after i checked in on this side, i got i contact with many of the dudes from the old times. and it is really good to hear that all of you have a nice live. i`m totaly out of word .
I would like to some of the guys i have talked to on the scene to drop me a mail even the guys i have hunted,m all of you who is on the c64 scene today you guys all have my respect
greetings to all of you

...and actually I don´t think it makes a good spirit in here to vote 1 for nice groups. I wouldn´t even vote 1 for the groups and persons that I did´t like back then. Damn it - it´s 14-10 years ago by now, and I would be happy to see all the old sceners in here - EVEN the people that I didn´t really like. Today there whould be absolutely no hard feelings from my site. Greets to all the people I din´t like back then. Hope I meet you one day, so we can drink some beers;-)

Anyway - I do prefer 100% transparent votes, as I´m sure many of the elite top groups and persons wouldn´t have all those lousy votes, which they do not deserve at all, I think! Imagine an old and very talented scener finds this site, and some people have voted "1" for him, even if he deserves a top vote, and got top votes in the past. Guess he would find it pretty lame, and he would probably not feel that welcome.

Never mind!

Dishy

Ps. And no - I don´t think Unicess deserves the vote "1" either!

.....the C64scene indeed becomes more and more deserted and actually I thought the scene was dying out years ago. This result in the fact, that old c64 sceners are very rare and infrequent. Therefor, it makes me glad to see all these old c64 people in here. No matter if it would be old enemies, chief competitors, bigtime rivals, what ever - it makes me glad, and I would never vote "1" to any of them.

If just you´re an old c64 scener, I show gratitute for every time there´s new entries in here, who shows respect for all the time and energy, we spend in the scene.

Anyway, nice to see, that some people shares my opinion about transparent votes.:

Transparent votes?

Off to get some sleep!

I have coded one single demo in my hole scene carrer- I think it was back in 1987. Oh yeah.. also I made a speciel Top10 for my contacts back in the DOM days.

..People who call me a coder, either don`t know me or must be infected with a critical virus. ;)

hehehe, Faith you old scene bastard!!!

Yeah, I bet that you for sure had some major laughs back in the eighties.. Just read in an old issue of Sex´n´Crime/Amok from 1989, that "about 8-10 groups built up a Federation Against Quizkid of Vision. Vector will soon release an anti-demo, named "Hunting Quizkid"

Let´s have a little quiz here;-) Do you know this trouble maker Quizkid? hehe.. Guess you and Crossfire(Exory/Vector etc.) had your funny times too....

Your Quizmaster - Dishy!
