Event id #2341 : RetroKomp/LOAD ERROR 2015

Hello dear sceners!

I would like to invite everyone to take a part in LOAD ERROR 2015 party. It's a 3-day event where as 2 years ago will be competitions for C64/Amiga/Atari/ZX platforms (no PC!).

Since I take care of C64 section I collect stuff for competitions.

Remote entries are accepted!!! Please send me all stuff you want to be released at LOAD ERROR 2015.

Follow rules and guidelines: http://retrokomp.org/?page_id=1610&lang=en_US

I also heavily invite You to visit us and have a nice party! Gdansk is a town which you can reach easily by a plane.

Looking forward for your entries! :)

Great!

Notice, that we have also "Wild" category, where you can release other kind of C64 stuff, which doesn't match to other categories. :)

I will repeat myself froom event page, but it's worth to do it.

Remote entries highly recommended and accepted. Send your entries (gfx/msx/intro/demo/msx or gfx colly/crack/whatever else runnable on C64) directly to my e-mail address: v-12_tropyx.....at.....o2.pl or PM me with download link. Please prepare only .d64 files even if there is only single .prg file (it will be more easy to transfer because all competitions will be presented from real machines).

I count on you!

Your game was sent to Tfardy who organizes GameDev compo (it's separate compo). Don't worry and good luck!

Can anyone explain the current mess in the event entry?

Various music releases in "Wild Demo", what's different between "Mixed" and "Wild" Demo?

It's not a mess. Read compo rules here http://retrokomp.org/?page_id=1551&lang=en_US point no 44.

Wild category was for every entry which didn't matches other categories. It could be anything.

Help me understand: The music which is in the "Wild" is there because it's covers/remixes?

Yes, exactly. But not all tunes released in Wild compo were covers.

Anyway. I guess that it was the last time where I put any of C64 msx entries into Wild category. Moreover I would like to confirm that in next edition of LOAD ERROR 2015 will be separate C64 competitions (if there will be proper amount of entries of course). C64 sceners deserves for that for sure.

Was mere curiosity, not meant as criticism. Your party, your rules.

You and rest of orga can be proud of such an amazing set of entries, especially in terms of music this party was a blast.

And now go fix those rankings ;)

Cheers
Ryk

Thank you for your comments and opinions. I'm here to clean up any musinderstandings. :)

I would like to say big thans to all C64 sceners for their almighty support. This was historical event with huge amount of C64 and Amiga releases.

The results *should* be published today.
