Can we have a "C64 Notefile" type already? There must be more than enough now. |

No doubt about there are tons of these files. But "hooray for new cat" reaction - often quite clear from a user's POV - still ain't only about "how many of whatever do we have".
Especially as someone would be supposed to go through all the old files of old category (here some 10,000 of "C64 Misc" about half of which I guess are notes while the other half ain't)... this might mean work(!)... *cringe*
So the debate should also cover: Is the expected amount of extra work really worth whatever-may-be-the-advantage-of-extra-cat? |

😢 And I did. But 10k entries? That’s sounds like a job for the one that request it. That is one of the main reasons to have an account here - to help out with the database.
ws: notes stays, as long they were meant to be publically spread. Private notes are private, and if you see one - delete. |

If we keep waiting then the number of entries will even grow so better have the new release type now and start converting them. We all should help updating the entries, not one person.
I think it should not be an excuse to not implement something because there are already too many entries and it takes too much time to update them. If the change is an improvement, we should just do it. |

I wouldnt be surprised that if you changed all "misc" entries to "notefile", there'd be less wrong tagged entries than there are now :) |

My guess about ratio of Notes within current Misc would also be coinflip :D |
