"What happened to" topic
Hi,
I thought this could be an interesting topic. I'll start it off.
What happened to Aspekt? They released three excellent demos in a short time, and then seem to have disappeared. |

Also what happened to Red Brand? Similar story, members being very active on CSDb etc, and then just gone. |

I guess it's what happened/happens to most sceners these days: life interferes. Back in the day I was in school/university and lived with my parents most of that time.
School was only mildly interesting and food and shelter was pretty much guaranteed. Which meant lots of time for my best friend, the C64. And getting high & drunk.
Once you get past that, life comes at you with a sledgehammer: work, relationships, not living with your parents (!) No time for C64.
Real reasons to get high & drunk.
Then you get to a certain age and get nostalgic and google your handle and come across this site (high & drunk, obviously), amazed at how many dudes are still active and the things they create. So you get active again, hoping to kick ass with cool stuff.
Only to have life interfere again at some point and looping back... |

Yes, if I would guess then those would be my guesses as well. But why guess if someone knows anything? |

There's always an excuse for laziness. Lurking CSDb forums for instance. |

Haha,.. perhaps not that simple. But I love popping back now and then doing stuff on this wonderful machine. And CSDB is a daily routine for me :) |
