Scans from the Snail Mail Days

Sticker. Presumably created by a C64 scener.
On the back of the sticker, written in blue ink are the words: Wellytopp Ghostmail.COM

Disk Cover © Cat/Excess
It appears to have been created for Issue #10 of ?
Using blue ink the #10 been over written with #51
The same blue pen was used to write Spermbird
Maybe it was Spermbird who defaced the cover ?

Hi Wile Coyote,
just a suggestion: why don't you create proper release entries for the disk covers? csdb has a category for them, after all. :-) Not for "other" stuff like the sticker, but as long as it is a cover or a vote sheet, it can get a proper place here. Cheers!

I did think about it, but this is all I have. I used to have many more, but over the years they went AWOL. I thought a thread would be more interesting. I can understand having a disk cover as a single entry if they were in great unused shape, but the scans I have posted here, are battered and used, some defaced. And the sticker, I guess if disk covers and vote sheets have individual release pages, then maybe stickers should to ?

One of the disk covers (above) I cannot read what magazine it is supposed to be for ?

Grafitti is not easy to read, but I think it says:

"Years of the Tribune"
"Entropy"
"Truth for all"

Which in other words should mean that the cover was made for issue ten of the Tribune by Entropy. I think :)

I deciphered the Tribune and Entropy, but not the rest. Thanks.

I was never really intro the creation of Disk Covers, although I did create a couple of cut n’paste efforts. As far as I know, all have been lost bar this one, created for The Tribune Magazine.

Among the cut n’paste shapes: Nastiness Inc./Angry riding a Mario Dragon. The Female from the original Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, holding onto a Citroen 2cv. The same Citroen 2cv provided the inspiration for the blue car that appears during http://noname.c64.org/csdb/release/?id=12619&show=notes#notes . The same car transported Wile Coyote, Riot, and Juned Warhab to a computer show in London. There’s also a Great White Shark falling from the sky.

NOTE: From Nazz!
Given that the pen using to write the words is the same as that used for the drawing, I guess it is safe to say, here’s some art from Nastiness Inc.

This Disk has been around the world.
Baldhead, Elwix, El Banditos, Ksin, Vampire, WEC, and someone who’s signature is unreadable have signed the cover.
