Replacing 8580 with 6581
I've got a 8580 in my C64, how does soldering that out, putting in a socket and cramming in a 6581 sound?
Do i need to modify somthing to get this to work?
Also, are there any way to test the functionality of the 6581 before putting it in? |

Quickly thinking, it might be easier to simply buy another C64 with a 6581... Then you'd have both. 8580 ain't so bad IMO ;) |
