intros
Hi all,
A question on my part on how to do something.
There are quite a few intros in the database which have no download link or seperate rip on the intros site. However there are usually several cracks laying around with that intro used infront of it.
We could just add a crack which uses that particular intro as download link (i have seen other people do it), but i was wondering if that would or would not deteriorate the intgrity of the database.
In other words: how do you think it should be handled?
greets,

in an entry for an intro there shouldnt be a download for a crack imho. if someone wants to download a crack using that intro he can use the backlinks to the crack(s) :) (that said, maybe a good way to combat this problem would be to put a direct download link to the linked crack next to the link to the crack entry... very much like it is now done for sid tunes) |

IMHO, an intro 'release' in CSDb should not have a download link if it wasn't released as a separate file.
It's not right to detach an intro from it's original file and make a new release out of it.
In all cases where it's merely a reference to an intro that has been used in conjucntion with cracks, the intro entry in the database should just hold a reference to all cracks that use it. |
