hehe, interestingly enough, the music analyser makes a wrong guess regarding my sidchip. says 8580 when it should say 6581.

Still can't belive how good this music collection is. New favourites are: Beyond Fluctuation/Monk, Marjon Loves/Factory 6, Caer Aisling/Asterion and Flobber/A-man.

For some reason I missed the Laxity intro tune in this collection. Now I just can't get enough of it. Ohh the sweet harmonies.

If you want the tunes in this demo in *.sid format, they will be inside the HVSC Christmas update.

Ahh what a collection not only do we get to experience tons of music it also features masterpieces such as Fanta's random2, Jeroen Tel's Jt in Rob's and another nice full screen picture made by TCH. The only thing that I thought fell short in this production was the amount of text which I had read before listening to a third of the music. Still one of the best productions this year. Happy birthday HVSC and see you in another 10 years :)

Nicely put together collection, with some nice tunes! The gramophone in the intro looks very good as well!

Great Intro, I really liked the scratchy and dusty feeling of the tune and the picture ! The main tune in the magazine was totally awesome. It reminded me of a jeroen tel if he had been on acid ;D

Many hours of wonderful music! 8D
It often came as a surprise who the composer was.
Some should really consider a comeback!

A big thanks to everyone involved in the HVSC.
It has made the SID immortal!
Happy birthday!!

Oh, we feel flattered by the positive feedback, thanks a lot!
And Deekay, I know the next update is long overdue, but it just happened to get delayed because of the extra time required to get 10 Years done.
And I'm sure you folks can use some SIDs under the christmas tree, so stay patient a little longer.

I haven't said this often enough, and I'd say this is the right place to say it, so here goes:

THANK YOU HVSC-TEAM for all the hard work! You're doing a great job, and a computer without HVSC is not worth using for me, i have it on all my machines! ;-)
Now, *please* finally release Update #46, I can't stand having to launch VICE for my new favourites, e.g. Drax' Unicorn Tunes or Linus' Rathouse Blues... ;-D

now, what tune is jellydog's chippie 2 based on? the infotext says it's an amiga cover, which is somehow puzzling as i only know jelly's pc chiptunes.

anyway, not taking my effort in account - this is the best musickdisk this year, i'd say. great work by the people who were involved.
nice to see deetsay resurface, same for adam gilmore and that hulsbeck guy (heard his name before, didn't he star as dylan in beverly hills 90210?)

This is the first time I have viewed the main demo page (although I've had previews of other bits and pieces), and I have to say that I am really impressed by how slick it is. It's really nice to select the articles, the tunes, and to switch between the two menu/analyzer. Of course, the music and the amazing picture at the start simply rock. What an amazing collaborative effort.

It doesn't matter, I usually fail to keep promises anyway.Btw. I couldn't resist and checked the collie in EMU. I would like to mention some WOW-Factors I've experienced. It changes tunes automtatically! FABULOUS. The articles to read! Whoa! The article by Randall mentioning Orcan. YEAH! Yeah that saved the day for me. We just spent about hour today phone-chatting about composing and stuff, I'm sure he'll be glad to read this news "that he is mentioned in such an honorable place" in upcoming SMS from me ;-)). Major collie with some attractive articles waiting for investigation. All thumbs up!

Sorry, CreaMD, we just missed to inform you (and probably many more). It's nothing personal, I can assure you.
At one point after sending out the first rush of notifications and getting twice as much replies from people I didn't even mail originally, I thought it must be an open secret that we're working on this. :-/

I'm just a bit annoyed (like that 13th wise-woman in "Little Briar-Rose) I've heard that this is in making, but nobody contacted me so I could have chance to spoil the collection with some tune too.. ;-(

"..., suddenly the thirteenth came in. She wished to avenge herself for not having been invited, and without greeting, or even looking at any one, she cried with a loud voice, "The King's daughter shall in her fifteenth year prick herself with a spindle, and fall down dead." And, without saying a word more, she turned round and left the room.

They were all shocked; but the twelfth, whose good wish still remained unspoken, came forward, and as she could not undo the evil sentence, but only soften it, she said, "It shall not be death, but a deep sleep of a hundred years, into which the princess shall fall." ;-)

(and now I have to wait another 10 years.. oh crap..)

(the reaction to content itself after weekend)
